I appreciate the fact they were in the middle of cleaning the hotel, but I expected much better from a Marriott.

Convenience to airport

Walking to our room we saw a razor blade lying on the hallway carpet. Then, entering the room the couch was disassembled and we realized it, along with the carpet, was damp. Upon going to the registration counter to request a new room, I saw an information sheet explaining about the cleaning of rooms. Mentioning it to the Employee working the desk, she appeared to have no idea that was going on After being given a new room, the couch and chair were quite dirty, with bodily oil stains. The television kept turning itself on and off. For breakfast, one had to order at the coffee counter, then full breakfast was delivered on a paper plate with small plastic utensils for a Courtyard by Marriott I simply assumed and expected better. Paying an additional $20 per night for parking was just an added annoyance.

A quick trip and a nice place to lay our heads

The room we ended up staying in was very nice and spacious. We were only there for approximately 8hours so didn't have much time to take it in.

I will say that the first room we checked into wasn't cleaned and reset for our stay, but the staff was very nice and ended up upgrading our room for the night which was nice.

Everything was fine but I’m not sure why I haven’t received my deposit and it’s been almost 2 weeks.

It was very clean and modern

The only thing that I’m upset about is that I haven’t received my deposit money back. Initially I was told I’d be charged a $50.00 deposit but I ended up getting charged $130.00. I was told I would receive 110 back since the parking fee is not refundable, which I understand. I have yet to be refunded the $110.00 deposit.

Even the 1st room had a little setback due to Toilet issue but Veronica was very prompt and timely to address the problem to move us to another room quickly and she does her job very efficiently and she seems so well-versed with her role , very professional and approachable and did great Customer service. Thank you Veronica!

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and modern. We got a great deal on the price.

The only negative to our stay was the soundproofing of the floors, ceiling , and walls. We only had a couple of people go to their rooms, so, not too bad. On a busy night, sleeping could be interrupted.

Check in was great, Barbara is a keeper. The hotel is clean and was an overall good experience.

Barbara at the front desk is wonderful. Very personable and goes out of her way to make sure the guest is comfortable.

The bathroom had a leak under the sink, so the bathroom floor was always wet. Also, it was specified that there would be 3 adults, so the first room did not have the pullout. That was quickly rectified but housekeeping did not have sheets, blankets or pillows in the room for the pullout upon our arrival.

1. I had paid 111$ at Booking.com for the room via PayPal, but by some unknown reason was charged 140$ one more time for the same room at the counter desk. 2. at Booking.com there was mentioned free car parking, but in fact i paid 15$ extra for the car parking over night

Barbara, provided excellent customer service my wife told her that if she wasn't the general manage!

We were celebrating our 40th anniversary, Ruby was the only staff member who was kind and professional. Ruby, kindly give us a upgrade to our room for choosing to spend our 40th anniversary with the Marriott! When we checked in I believe her name was Barbara who checked us in. She sent us to a room that Ruby hadn't described to my wife. After my wife repeated was Ruby had told her, that was when Barbara finally gave in and gave us the room that had been described to my wife. Secondly, that same night the young lady who was managing the front desk late at night, I explained to her that I use a BPAP machine every night. I asked if there was a lost and found, in order to see if anyone from housekeeping had taken it from Rm 432, which is the room that I had left my BPAP in, and see if it was taken to lost and found. Barbara assured me after looking in the lost and found that there was no machine there. That is when I requested a key to Rm 432, to see if I had left it in that room. Barbara told me that housekeeping do a through job of cleaning the rooms and they would have brought it to the front desk if it was found. I had to fight for myself and tell her that I use my machine every night and without it I could possibly die in my sleep, since I stop breathing in my sleep. I asked her to call a manager, which she did the manager probably told her to go into the room to check and see if it was there. When we got to the room my BPAP machine, was right where I had left it. I was thankful and for the manager on the phone whomever they were, who insist that she look in the room. My wife Tonette, and I love staying with the Marriott's different properties, Tonette is very particular where she stays and whenever I tell her it's a Marriott she is always pleased especially if there's a restaurant in the property. We have stayed at one of your properties for the 40 years that we have been married.

Good value, if you able to get it under 100/pre night. Quiet room for most of the time. Big shower room. Staff always at the front desk to help.

Can't turn the TV off, so I have to go behind the TV to unplug it. The window did do a good job to isolate the noise. I was forced to listen to those noisy kids having fun in the pool until late night.

Location, safety, comfort, and cost are my discriminators and in that order.

Backup batteries in the smoke detector were losing their charge and the smoke detector flashed all night. The shower door seal was missing and it leaked. Half of the two-part coffee table was missing.

Besides the beds, being very uncomfortable to sleep in and the bed linen being of poor quality and extremely thin, I was horrified to know that on the day that I had a very important business meeting that I would wake up to absolutely no water in the hotel!! I’m still waiting for my room to be comped as an inconvenience.

Staff failed to mention that the water was shut off from the time I arrived until 5:00am the following morning. This is

Quiet, clean, close-by to my family I was visiting.

I checked in late on Friday, June 30th, between 10-11:00 pm. I called around 9:00 pm to verify that this would not be a problem, and they assured me the staff would be on hand to check me in. When I arrived the staff was in fact available, and very friendly. I received my room key, and headed to my room. The room appeared to be very pleasant, and things seemed to be going well. Filled my ice bucket and tried to pour a glass of water from the bathroom sink. NO WATER! Same with the shower. NO WATER!Turns out, the staff had placed a “memo” on the a countertop, not highly visible, mentioning that the water would be turned off for maintenance between the hours of 11:00 pm Friday evening, until 5:00 am Saturday morning. My question is, why in the world wouldn’t the staff mention this to me when I was checking in?? Why not tape the memo to the front door of my room so I can see it when I’m entering the room? That would have been the appropriate, courteous thing to do! I had been driving all day, and had planned to shower before going to bed too, but this was impossible! I mentioned this entire situation to the staff upon checkout and they said “why didn’t you tell us, we would have given you another room”. Really? How would that fixed the NO WATER issue? The failure of the staff to mention the water situation is inexcusable! I had to go down to the front desk to find out what was going on, and to purchase water for $20.00! This entire experience was ridiculous and unnecessary. I am beyond disappointed in the staff at this Marriott location. Needless to say, I won’t be back. S. Leimer Room #227 Friday June 30th.

Pool was dirty, the decor was outdated, the toilet ran constantly and they claimed the maid did not clean the room due to social distancing. The staff claimed that occupants needed to request services. I did not understand
