The staff was very nice and its a small hotel and very quiet. Overall for the price it was perfect I do wish they had ice machine. But other then that plenty of fast food and restaurants and a liquor store near by.
They had no Ice machine

Breakfast was not provided.

The place was decent, since I split the cost with a friend. Ideally, that place is cheaper considering there's not much around it, and it doesn't scream security. $160 for a night.
The room was quite bare bones. More amenities would be nice in a place like that. The room smelled of people who smoke cigarettes, and though it was clean of mess, it felt like it hadn't been deep cleaned it probably a decade.

I love the location. It's next to parks and stores where you can get anything. The room is good, king bed.
The bed makes a loud noise when pressure is put on it. It may be the springs. It wasn't a big deal.

Good location, facilities are older but very clean.
Rooms were a little stuffy. Pricey for a weekend.

The motel is close to everything. Location location.
The beds are not the softest. We didn't sleep all night. The smell of smoke in the room that you eventually get used to. It's also right next to the road, you hear everything. It overall needs remodeling down to its core. New windows, remove the carpet, everything.

No air. No extra lock on door

It’s centrally located and there was plenty of parking. Bed was comfortable, but not enough pillows.
Steps to room are brick, too steep, and wonky - they would not be considered to code now. Doors do not have an added security latch at the top, and the door key was sticky. Carpet smelled of solvent and interior door mat was still wet.
Furnishings are very dated but functional. Windows need to be replaced with triple panes. Lots of exterior noise. Parking lot lighting at night is atrocious (think MLB stadium bright), which required rigging the black out curtains, and it never quite worked, so room was not dark enough.
The bathroom is tiny, but functional. Shower is very dated with a significant step up, very slippery interior, and there was no bath mat provided. We had to use a towel on the floor to provide some traction. First shower had multiple unpleasant temperature variants. 2nd was better - I’d recommend individual room on-demand water heaters or similar. Bathroom window has no screen and needs to be updated. For having two queen beds, the room should have been furnished with enough towels for a family of four - they provided only two sets.
Refrigerator and wall heater are loud, and the heater pilot runs 24/7. Fridge cycles too much. I would update rooms with quieter mini-splits.
TV and remote worked. The room has a table and two chairs, but no easy-to-access wall outlets and charging ports.

Stayed for Monterey Car Week. Decent location by some fast food places, corner store next door, dispensaries nearby, very basic old school rooms and physical keys. Booked 3 weeks before car week at $300 so pretty good deal compared to $900 for a single night at the Motel 6 for the event dates!
No AC and barely any hot water from the shower

Good location. Comfortable bed and nice sized room. Simple and adequate.
The curtains didn’t adequately block out the parking lot lighting.

I would have enjoyed a bath tub but I knew before I booked that the room only had a shower.

I liked how nice the lady was and she was very accommodating and polite. I liked the showers too and tv it was cool. The table as well.
Just don’t turn on the heater it makes the room smell like feet.

location is convenient to Monterey and Laguna Seca
not enough towels for 4 people, as reserved. This is a very old place that doesn't appear to have ever been updated. Compared to other options, it was considered to be a reasonable rate because of some event in the area was causing all the hotel rates to be high. Thankfully, we only needed a place to sleep (12-hr stay)

2 star hotel for 4 star price. Gross rooms, hugely overpriced
I don’t know why hotels are price gouging everyone right now, this was one of the most basic , grossest rooms I’ve stayed in
I would have felt uncomfortable paying 80 let alone 160 witch was my total

Owner were kind and welcoming. It felt like a family business. The room was absolutely spotless and a good value. This is an economy stay, made nicer by the kindness and cleanliness.
Soap and shampoo products should be of better quality

I would not stay here again. The woman at the front desk was kind.
I thought this location was near a Marina...don't let the name fool you. This is a bit of a run down location. Seems very old and needs an upgrade. The smoke alarm started to chirp in the middle of the night. For the cost, not really what I expected.

Reminds me of Motels of yesteryear.
Dark rooms, tiny shower, 2 pillows on bed and when 2 more requested, it was an inconvenience, though they were provided. Amenities and charm were lacking.
