The room was clean, nice, and the bed were comfortable! The staff were super nice. We stayed here on our family vacation with a child, so we stayed a few nights and had interacted with 3 different staff members throughout our stay. Our child enjoyed the playground at the hotel. We drove over 10 hours through the night and they allowed us to check in early to get some rest before we adventured the area.
The heating source in the room was a bit irritating to try and work with. We tried to turn the heat on whenever arriving, figured it needed time to process the switch over and actually turn on, we took a long nap and whenever we woke up we realized it was not on still (about 5 hours later). The girl working the office was phenomenal (wish i had gotten her name!!) and got maintenance to come fix it, however once they got it on it was like on non-stop and full blast. We just opened the windows whenever we felt it was too hot in the room for us / then close the windows back when it was cooler.
The hot tub was dirty. I thought it was inside but it is outdoors, like built into a patio deck. it is nice but maybe a cover at night and a nightly cleaning would help. The inside pool was also dirty. We could visibly see chunks of hair floating in the water while walking by to look at the hot tub.

Spiders in the room! Breakfast was meh. You can hear people in the rooms next to you. Hotel guests are put into side by side rooms instead of spreading them out.

You get what you pay for. Older decent room. Small. Clean enough. If you're just stopping to sleep one night it will do. We just felt compact in an old building vibe. I struggled with the squeaking noises all night. I had to get my headphones and wear them to drowned the squeaking. If you bump the air conditioner cord it makes a beeping sound so I don't know that it actually works but we came in the winter so we didn't need it. There are zero places to set things down. There's a chair and a nightstand.
