Got a good deal and exactly what I expected

Easy access to first floor room from vehicle, Room was clean an comely even though it was older. WIFI worked. Competitively priced. No cigarette smoke smells. The location seemed a little sketchy but the overall room and convenience was good.

Only two towels and they had no extras. Bathroom/shower was dimly lit and small. No breakfast but for the price it was worth it.

It was okay for a night. I did like that pets stay free.

I liked that their nightstands in the king room had plugs on them! Made it easy to charge what I needed.

The rooms were okay but they were not cleaned properly! The beds aren’t comfort but will suffice for a night. My son’s room had old food in it in drawers and used soap in the sink. The sink was dirty too. When we told them this, they said we should get a full refund, so that part is nice. If we do get it. Booking also doesn’t share that they require a $100 deposit per room.

The room was dirty, and the drawers were literally only staying shut because they were propped up—seriously! They gave me a password for the Wi-Fi, but it was completely unusable (why even bother?). Forget about breakfast, and there wasn't even a coffee machine in the room.

Don’t stay here!

The place was nasty. Garbage left in garbage containers, water in the ice container & A/C didn’t work. Tried calling front desk and the phone didn’t work. Had to walk to the front desk to tell them about the issues and there is this “creeper guy” laying in the shadows of the walkway ( not safe for a woman). In the morning only scalding hot water in the shower. Front desk said they’d have to get back to us after talking with Booking.com on a discount, but of course that hasn’t happened either

Looks like they were having trouble with cleaning staff. Room wasn't serviced the two days we were they and I actually didn't see any cleaners while there. They only activated the key card to the room door lock for one day at a time. Had to go back to the desk to get it reactivated.

Staff in the bar and restaurant , we're extremely nice and professional.

Lady At the front desk was extremely rude! Then lied to us, telling us she had nothing available. Then she got mad when We boocked our room online. Telling us because We booked online, And she hadn't cleaned the rooms yet..(at 7pm) she was going to downgrade the room and would not refund the difference in cost!!!

The bed was ok. It was comfortable. The lady who checked us in was nice and tried to support or request of getting us a room with out smell of dog piss an mass amount of dog hair.

The first room smelled of dog piss. All surface areas were covered in dog hair. The bed comforter was stained and covered in hair. I understand this was pet friendly hotel. I didn't expect this. Asked to be moved to a room that was less pet friendly. The lady said it would cost and extra $65.00 for an upgrade since we booked with booking.com. I asked her to call her boss. She did and she said he told her that there was nothing she could do. I asked to be moved to a new room in with in the same room type I paid for. She said she could not promise me it would be any better. Got moved form 109 to 105. Room smelled better. Had 2 issues with room. The toilet stopped filling with water. The shower was super hot. The shower was danger to the point of burning someone. The shower mixer was not working right. Was not able to cool down water with the cold side of shower. Did not call front desk because we had all ready complained about first room. Did want any retaliation with my stuff in room while not in room. Used trash can to fill tank. Filled bath tub with hot water and used sink to add cold water from sink. Told front desk about issues upon check out. I would stay away from this hotel at all cost. Grand Junction has many great hotels.

With all the places I stayed in two weeks, it exceeded a lot of them.

I loved that there was a restaurant and bar at the location, it made for a very convenient stay. Not much for breakfast; however, that was the norm at most of the places we stayed.

I was very disappointed that our friends were upstairs and us down stairs. I book long enough in advance that it should have been blocked off. For that reason I did not rate it as excellent.

Do not recommend to nonsmokers

The bed was the only thing we liked. No breakfast there. Smokers hung around rooms outside and the smoke was flowing into our room. The clerk would not do anything about it after mentioning it to her

People or just loitering around the hotel doors outside. There needs to be a designated smoking area away from all the hotel rooms like other motels The smokers were hanging out all outside the room. smoke was flowing into our room. The clerk did nothing about it The attached el mescal restaurant had a mouse running around the dining room, and all they did was give us a discount. Reported it to the motel Clerk and she just Laughed.

Convenient location.

The room was incredibly dirty. We needed to wear shoes around the room or our feet became covered in dirt. The floors had not been vacuumed and the room was not dusted. Hundreds of bugs were stuck in the cobwebs on the ceiling.

Location

Bugs are crawling everywhere in the room, including the bed. I was told I could stay or check out. So, I was stuck trying to find another hotel in the middle of the night. I sent pictures and video via email to the manager and numerous phone calls with no reply. I called booking.com and Omar was very polite and is working on getting me a refund.
