The lobby and room was extremely clean, well kept and up to date. The staff was very friendly.

The continental breakfast was just ok. The waffles were delicious but the eggs and sausage left a little to be desired.

Breakfast was okay, but many of the items contained too much sugar, for example the oatmeal packets, the three different cereals offered, and the yogurt. The eggs were good and there was wheat bread, which we enjoyed. There were also fresh apples which were nice.

Attentive staff

Welcoming. Helpful. We stayed here overnight on the way to Milwaukee. We left a small bag behind. The staff (Mariah) called before we even got to Chicago to advise we’d left the bag. I advised them that we’d pick it up on the way back, a week later. When we retrieved the bag, we decided to stay overnight on our return trip. They were able to accommodate us and we had another satisfying stay overnight.

Upsetting attitude from front desk manager

Everything but the staff, Specialty front desk man on duty today, October 27, 2025, at 9 am

Front desk employee did not demonstrate customer service empathy when we arrived at the breakfast place at 9:01 am, thinking closing time was at 9:30 am. We found fridge closed and he did not try to help us to get the yogurt we needed. Just gave us “the look” and continue checking his phone . With so many options for food lodging, we will never return to this hotel .

A disappointing stay in Maumee

The location was good.

The breakfast was of poor quality & cold. The rooms were furnished very sparcely, there was nothing on the walls at all. The fan which turned on when the light came on was so loud you could hardly stand being in the room. The mattress was soft & squishy.

Would stay there again

Breakfast was very nice, a good variety every day. Staff was very nice. Place was clean. They were pretty busy but it was very quiet when we were in our room, did not hear hallway or outside noise.

The elevator was very slow. Also flushing the toilet sounded like a jet taking off, very loud. My husband was disappointed that there was no hot tub, it has been removed and filled.
