Close to wedding venue.

Food left in the fridge, carpets hadn’t been vacuumed, smelled horrible, and outlet in bathroom had a broken plate cover with wires exposed. Lots of sketchy residents. I left after seeing the property and found another hotel.

The lady at checkout was nice.

Everything. There was no breakfast. The room was dirty. The bathroom had mildew everywhere including the ceiling. The microwave was broken. The walls looked beat up. I think there were families living there with their dog. They were loud and the kids were obnoxious. The hall stunk of nasty cigarettes and marijuana.

This place is DISGUSTING!!!

There was nothing I liked about this place other than I guess location.

This place is DISGUSTING!!! It does not appear that they clean their rooms at all! Other than towels and MAYBE changing the sheets. There was an empty whiskey bottle, and a tissue stuck right to the middle of the wall, and hair all in the tub, markings all over the walls, filthy carpeting, filthy furniture. I am definitely not going to unpack, inside my house, for fear of bringing home some unwanted pest. Do not stay here. I certainly never will again.

We had a broken security lock, missing light bulbs, the table was about to fall apart, it smelled like cigarettes, the toilet ran almost constantly, and we found bed bugs.

Wonderful

Wonderful room.Very clean and cozy Wonderful location. Felt very safe in area. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. Bed was so comfortable. Slept better than I have in a while. Thank you to all staff.

All was good. I wouldn't change anything unless they could keep pool open all night. lol. Did have some smell from animals being in hotel, but I love my animals and not a problem. Only noticed in hallway.

I will never go back there

The room didn't have a comforter, the air didn't seem to cool it down as much as I expected, the fan in the bathroom was hanging from the ceiling, the corner by the door in the bathroom was falling apart, the desk/table was barely standing, any movement and it would almost fall over, only 2 towels for a room with 2 queen beds, walls had stuff splattered on them.

My stay in Waterford MI.

Not much.

The hotel is old and in bad shape. The room was noisy and bathtub had black mold around the rim. I won't ever stay there again. This was the shabbyist hotel I've stayed in since the 90's. I checked out after one night. I'm waiting to hear from you about a refund for the second night. The hotel said I had to contact you about a refund. I sent a message last night.

The tube was gross, didn't shower because of how it looked, holes in carpet, picture frame broke and pulled from frame, hole in head board and cracked tile. The Whole place needed maintenance (except the front desk- Thar area looked good. The TV romte didn't work. Not a place I would stay again.

Hotel entrance needs some work, dirty canopy and peeling paint on the entrance walkway. Lobby is a nicest part of the hotel. Elevators very shabby. Bad smells in the hallway. Bathroom sink stopper did not work properly. Had to go underneath the sink in order to release the stopper. Room 147.

Location and outside appearance was great

No blankets. No light bulbs in lamp. Broken lamp shade. Broken mattress. And all kinds of garbage in front of the bed headboard.

The stay was ok, but the motel was dirty. I am not blaming the cleaning staff. Motel is old!!

The staff was very nice. The entrance we were instructed to enter was very dirty inside and out. There were cigarette butts all around. The entrance smelled like cigarette smoke. Some shady people outside with the bikes right by the entrance. This entrance was open at all time, did not have to use room card to get in. The room was so so clean, but not clean around the edges of the carpet. The bed skirt was very dirty. It just looked like the cleaning job was just done half ass, so to speak. The window had a screen in it that was bent and almost ready to fall off. The furniture had seen it's better days. All furniture needed to be thrown away. The motel needs a complete renovation, or torn down and a new one built in the same place. The bed was comfortable. Probably would not stay here again, unless it had a complete overhaul. NO BREAKFAST

Awful

The girl working the first night was very rude. After waiting for her to get done flirting with men who looked to be in their late 30s or 40s and she looked maybe 16 which was disturbing. The room was disgustingly dirty and when I asked to be moved I was told there was no more rooms even though the website said they had 2 available. When I asked what we can do to fix this problem instead of offering a cleaning or even a discount i was told well you can leave with a smug look on her face. I definitely will not be back. It was absolute trash this visit

Its location but that turned out not to be good enough to outweigh everything else awful about it. The young lady at front desk was very polite and efficient.

Everything was poorly remodeled. The elevator was scary and felt unsafe. The room smelled terrible. Stains down all the walls. Ceiling stained dirty and cracking. Curtains had chunks of food or something stuck to them in the corner. Desk chair was torn and stuffing coming out. TV didn’t work. Bathroom had no towels, soaps, or anything at all. Tub looked dirty.

We didn’t stay. Drove home for4 hours!

Absolutely nothing. It was an absolute nightmare.

The tv didn’t work. The lock on the door was broken off, light fixtures were hanging from the ceiling, bathroom was filthy, the bed was THE most lumpy thing I’ve EVER seen in my life, the wall unit AC was banging to beat the band. This was the worst experience I’ve had in my lifetime. We are on the road driving BACK to Ohio at 10:42 pm. We have a 4 hour drive ahead of us. We want a full refund. I’m going to pursue this via telephone tomorrow or as soon as someone answers a phone. I’m beyond furious. If we don’t get a full refund, I’ll be going on a campaign against BOOKING.COM. I’ll hit every social media outlet possible, vigorously

I stayed for the original two days that I made a reservation for and then stayed two more.

The staff and other customers were friendly. I came here because it was pet-friendly, and it was.

The remote did not work for the TV, but the woman at the front desk gave me another one, and it did not work either. She did offer to have the maintenance guy come up and take a look, but I did not find it necessary. I could still get to the TV guide. Besides, I have seen everything on TV.

The place was very run down and people were living there so kids were running up and down the hallways. The back door that you were supposed to use your room key to enter the building was always propped open.

It was gross, outdated, not maintained. There was crusty food in a window sill. The jacuzzi tub didn't work and even if it did, it looked disgusting and we wouldn't use it. There was barely any hot water. The toilet seat was peeling. The whole hotel reeked of Marijuana and BO. There was stains and missing carpet. There was missing tile pieces in the hallways. The microwave was dirty and broken, wouldn't even stop on its own. There was 1 random broken lamp in our room for some reason. The other lamp had a broken bulb. (Not burnt out... broken.) We had one working lamp so that was cool. They didn't give us a comforter because they said they were running low so they stopped giving them out. We were expected to sleep with just sheets. The drawers were full of dust and debris. Absolutely disgusting. Will never return and will tell everyone I know to avoid it.

Absolutely filthy. I couldn’t stay more than an hour before having to forfeit the 60$ I spent on the room to spend $95 on a different room. Staff was lazy, incompetent, the locked exit doors as in trying to leave this acursed place only to have to turn around and walk the length of the upstairs down the staircase in the lobby.. thank goodness their water “feature” lacked water because I wouldn’t be able to face my reflection being in this setting. My advice buy a tent and a blanket and you’ll have more comfort than what this decaying facility offered

After receiving our 2nd room, there was no trash cans, the adjoining door to the next room did not lock. It was extremely noisy. Slamming doors all hours, the room directly above seemed to be playing jump rope all night. There was no hand towels provided only 2 small “bath” towels.

Not the worst, but could be much better. Not a fan of the bait and switch.

Don't judge a book by it's cover; the place has potential should anyone choose to put investment capital into it. Working spa baths in the king rooms, but use at your own risk (or clean out yourself before use). This place has seen better days, but it could again if anyone gave it a fair go. The large lap pool was a surprise. At least it's close to things to do and places to shop. Location is a saving grace. They have vending machines.

The noisy appliances, the musty cigarette smell of the room, broken glass in halls and doorways, lack of towels and blankets, confusing layout, overly chlorinated and questionably murky pool, the staff's vibe, broken furniture and amenities, and their bait and switch photos on the web site. Those photos were taken years ago and it shows the minute you arrive. What you see is not what you get, but not the worst place I've been stranded.

We could not stay in our room due to the horrid smell. Took our breath away. Flies everywhere. No mini fridge, microwave or picture of the wall. Gross conditions. Have receipt for refund on room however have not received refund.
