Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Waterford by IHG

You need to update your website to let people know that you know longer have Jacuzzi suites at this location. I booked one online and when I got there they gave me a tiny room with two beds. Definitely not what I payed for. I went to the front desk to inquire about the room and I was informed that they got rid of the Jacuzzi rooms. The manager was nice and cancelled my reservation and refunded my money but you are going to have a lot of upset people if you don't upgrade your website. I was very disappointed. Ended up going to a different Holiday inn that did have a Jacuzzi room. I will never come back here.

Queen suite which was reserved was not available. So was given a regular queen room but was charged $30 more for the night. So paid more for a forced downgrade.

Construction in hotel. Limited breakfast. Only two bath towels in room for four occupants. We did know that the pool would be closed. Traffic noise too loud.

The renovated room was great. Very comfortable and stylish with all the amenities I needed.

They are still renovating the front office and breakfast area, and the pool was closed.

Our room was nice but the bed was very uncomfortable. We did not know that the hotel was being remodeled. The pool was closed. The normal breakfast was not being served due to the construction-it was just a “grab and go” breakfast. There was no lobby. It was very much not worth the price. I think we deserve a partial refund

The property will be nice once the remodel is done. I just don’t think you should charge full price when all the amenities are not available

Staff was wonderful.

The hotel is under major construction. The breakfast was a grab and go because of this. They gave a good selection considering the circumstances. The pool and exercise room were closed because of the work being done. We were not aware of the construction until we arrived because we booked 3rd party. The desk clerk said that this information is on their website. Our room was nice, but the dust from construction was in the air in the hallways. The staff did a great job trying to keep everyone happy under this huge undertaking. I'm thinking that maybe they should have closed until the major construction was done.

There were renovations being done on the roof and lower level. Gave us a room top floor with extremely loud banging and walking around - i called and asked for a room on the lower level and was told that theres nothing they can do about the renovations and it seemed to bother her to look for another room. She sighed and said she had 1 left that i had to come back down and sign again. Once into the new room, the HEAT was on 75! It was almost 80° outside! Then, I laid on the bed and when i stood up my shirt was covered in a brown dust of some sort. We asked for a new comforter and did receive one. We took showers and the shower floor was filthy! Once into bed for the night the loud banging ensued ob the lower level! It was a terrible nights sleep or lack thereof. While I understood that the renovations were occurring-there was no notice that it was happening-we came to relax and could not do so.

They put us in a newly renovated room. Everything is perfect here other than the hospitality tvs, which the hotel is supposed to be able to disable it but they wouldn’t do so.

The breakfast was all around good. Loved the sausage gravy and biscuits.

Checking in Jazz was the attendant at the desk. She was so nice and just had a welcoming smile. The breakfast in the morning was really good too.

The staff was very friendly. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. And the breakfast was so good!

The room itself smelled kinda musty. Not too horrible tho just a little off.

My husband enjoyed the buffet variety, fresh fruit and variety of fruits was a bonus.

I did not like the rude micromanaging of the staff. One staff member was verbally antagonistic.

I was lied to about the size of my suite. it was the same size as a basic room. it should have been square with a couch as well and it was rectangle with chairs in front of a tv. that was called the lounging area. smh

I liked the layout and the breakfast was lovely. it was a packed house and the staff had breakfast out an hour early since many were heading to a dance comp. They made sure everyone had a chance to eat.
