Clean and comfortable. Fairly quiet. Definitely can hear the Dixie Highway traffic. Very pleasant overall. Will stay again.

Staff is very friendly! Room was pretty and very clean. Balcony on the water is a plus. Close to Pine Knob Music Theater, perfect stay for an overnight concert!

The location was nice for food spots to eat. Our room had a lil kitchenette. The pillows were super nice. Memory foam. Soft.

The location was good for food but youre right on Dixie highway so you hear every motorcycle passing ever big truck if people honk you hear it. It wasn't the cleanest. We found som gunk on the blanket and pillows so we ended up not sleeping with any of their stuff. Luckily I had a blanket in the car we could use and we used jackets for pillows. The photos looked really nice but the reality was a bit disappointing. It di its job in providing a place to sleep but it felt more like a motel so if you going for like a nice lil mom and pop bed and breakfast feel its not that. More like a... minimally upscale super 8/motel. We didnt know how to access the lake from our room (we were in room 2).

Beautiful location in front of a lake.

Clean, quaint old school motel but with a cabin feel. The water side porch was a great place to gather and watch the turtles, ducks and fish! The added amenities of kayaks, paddle boats and fishing was truly a plus!

Our mini fridge wasn't very cold.

Love the view of the lake from the porch and back of the motel. You would never guess what a cute cozy place. This is from the road beds were comfortable as where the pillows.

Up North feel! SO CLEAN! The check in manager was very kind. Safe area and convenient! I was on a work trip and the location was perfect!

The staff were friendly. The room was clean. The water in the shower was hot. There was a fridge and microwave.

Room was really small. The a/c was blowing right on us because the room was so small. There was no table, nor was there room for one.

Rustic, cozy theme. Deck out the back on the water. Friendly people. Loved watching the swans and turtles.

Mattress was a little warm. Lights out front were shining in our room at night.

Smallest room I have ever seen. Shower dripped. Hole kicked in wall. Only window faced the parking lot.

We stayed here as we drove in for a concert at Pine Knobb Music Theater. It was amazingly close and easy to check in, check out and super comfy. Highly recommend. Will return for next concert.

Property is old. It was cool though that when you went out the back door, you were on a deck overlooking a lake.

I don't care for places that have doors directly to the outside.

It is rustic. It had what we needed. Very clean, soft towels, comfortable bed. My husband who is typically a restless sleeper, slept for 10 hours. Nice view of the lake from the porch at the back of the motel.

I thought the road noise would bother me, but the white noise of the A/C unit blocked it out.

I prefer the rooms on the lake side...they're quieter plus they've got the back deck area.

Not really what I expected, which was a quaint, retro, lakefront inn. It was a little too retro, it was on a lake, it was not exactly "quaint". I could tell someone has tried really hard to give it that vibe....rooms were VERY clean, bed was updated with a comfy mattress and memory foam pillows, fluffy, clean towels. A lovely view out over the small lake. But also, a little grungy, on a busy, congested highway....just not the setting I had envisioned. They offer an option to rent by the week, with a folding chair and ashtray outside the front door of each unit. That's the vibe. I got the room for $68 on Booking. Upon arrival, the clerk offered to update to a bigger room overlooking the lake for $10 more. He showed us the rooms and we agreed. Then he called somebody, discussed with them for several minutes, then redid our bill, for $89, $94 total, with tax. At this point, I really needed to check in to the room, so I paid. Let's just say there are much better options in the area in the $100 range.

I loved how cozy the room looked , how clean it was, and the beautiful deck access and water front.

The room we stayed in was not the room advertised online when i made the booking. I booked the family room with a full sized kitchen and fire place. Instead I got a small room with a small kitchenette and a very uncomfortable bed.

It was clean, in a good location and I liked having the back porch area with the view of the lake. We drove from an hour away and it was nice to come into a clean easy to find room.

Checking in was an odd experience. It didn't feel warm and inviting. At first, I felt like we may have checked into a place to stay that might have been in a bad neighborhood. When we pulled up and parked in front of the room the outside was plain. Just around the door there was a big crack in the wall, and it almost looked like someone may have kicked the door in/out. The inside was dated and had a faint musty smell.

Very friendly staff, cool location and the ability to use the boats is fun. Very reasonably priced.

Was supposed to have a queen sized bed but it was only a double bed.

Manager off sick, housekeeper and someone else in charge of checking in. Housekeeper living in the room next door with family making noise and arguing at 3am. Her young son trying to look in our room and asking us what we were doing was kind of off putting. Decent amount of noise from the local road.

it was like staying in the upper peninsula! i expected a deer or bear to wander by. a quiet little cabin-like atmosphere

it's not set up to serve a breakfast but that's ok. the ambience was very nice
