The owner was very kind and the location was walkable to town.

The double bed was against a slanted wall which made it difficult to get in or out of bed without hitting one’s head, but there was a queen sofa bed so I slept there.

Staff was friendly and attentive. We felt like we were family staying in a guesthouse out back. Views from the property are very nice. Very comfortable for a couple and their toddler.

Only thing I would wish for was a tiny container of dish soap (not hand soap) so that I could rinse the bowls/cups we used.

Really special place, and I am looking forward to coming again!

We were attending a major car show in the area, and this location was perfect for us. It was totally private, cozy and quaint, and had tons of personality with floral highlights and everything we needed to feel at home. They were so welcoming and kind. We enjoyed watching mama deer and their fawns right outside the door. The view was amazing. It was extremely quiet. The bed was firm, which was perfect for us. Plenty of hot water, towels, extra pillows and soft blankets. Don’t even think of trying to get this place next year at this time! I will fight you for it! Thank goodness there are two suites available…loved it!

A must stay if you are in or around Ferndale

Nice, unique and private location a couple minutes walk from the main street in Ferndale. The couple that owns the property were super friendly. Lots of deer, hawks and small birds around the balcony and the atmosphere made this stay on a roadtrip from Seattle to San Diego a perfect resting place.

The bed was a little small, but so comfortable we slept really well anyway

It was cozy, comfortable, and so cute. The views from the deck alone were amazing. The decor was darling and made it really easy to settle in and enjoy.

Everything! The deck, nice size bathroom, and windows seat were some of my favorites.

Full of character. Very well thought-through in terms of comfort, privacy etc. Great size of living space!

No breakfast, poor percolator coffee. I am glad we had a forgotten cherry pie in the car otherwise you are forced to drive to the center to look for sth to eat first thing you wake up. Also, I felt a little bit like I intruded into the peaceful life of the guy who runs it.

No breakfast included. Room wax spacious and clean and was in the hills over Ferndale. Very quiet. Deer came through the yard with two fawns. Very relaxing spot. Owners friendly and were there to answer any questions or available if anything was needed. Microwave and kitchenware and fridge were very useful. Good ventilation.

Wife felt the wifi kicked her off a few times with her apple cell phone but I had no problem with my Samsung.

Fantastic place to stay in a fantastic little town!

This was simply a fantastic place to stay in Ferndale. The room (above the garage) was cozy, yet spacious, and very clean. The inn is in a quiet bucolic spot and an easy walk to the eateries on main street. And, the WIFI was strong. I highly recommend!

Bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! The owners were very lovely! Highly recommend Russ Park which is extremely close by! Loved all the books on Denmark lying around.

Location is up a very windy road - but luckily it is still easily accessible into town (mainstreet Ferndale) by foot if you are patient/slow : )

No breakfast included, but there was a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. There was a cute little dining table for the eating area. The couch made out into a double bed and then there was a room with a double bed. No tub—- shower only. Pretty view overlooking Ferndale.

Charming, comfortable and close to town

The Olde Danish Inn is close to the center of Ferndale and even closer to the road to Petrolia near the north end of the Lost Coast Trail. The rooms are spacious and sparkling clean. We enjoyed our weekend visit and would come again.

The suite was very clean and had all the amenities as advertised. Uffe was welcoming, but I was very uncomfortable with the no-mask situation and being told by Uffe's husband that he did not believe in masks and he would not wear one. It made me very anxious and I wouldn't stay again because of the encounter.
