Charming Inn with friendly staff and breakfast treats, but find anywhere else for dinner... sadly.

The breakfast and the lady at the bar was so lovely. Anthony at reception was friendly. The Inn had a nice ambience.

The kitchen in the upstairs room had a great many ants on the counters. We were apparently moved to these rooms because of ants in our booked rooms. The dinner ( for three) had nice starters, but the fish and chips x2 were both horribly overcooked... a hard batter shell with only a little very very skinny filet inside. The organic chicken was not cooked to gently falling off the bone, but tough and red on the bone. Honestly the boxed breakfast was much more tasty. Such a big disappointment.

Would stay here again for sure.

Our accommodations were in a small apartment - much more than a room or a suite. That was a nice surprise. There was a full sized fridge and oven, toaster, coffee maker, etc. The bedroom was a fully separate room from the living/kitchen. The breakfast was not a hot breakfast, but it was very good. Delicious croissant, large yogurt and paleo bar (that was much better than I expected!), coffee/tea.

The apartment felt like a throwback to the 70s or 80s - could stand to be updated. There was only a loveseat in the living room - smallish for 2 people. The TV was very small.
