We would definitely stay there again!

The location is wonderful- able to walk around Ferndale, which is a great little historic town. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to help us - toasted my gluten free bagel for me in the morning, gave us a map of the town, and helped us plug in our EV for free charging at the hotel.

A beautiful place to stay, stairs to rooms and the breakfast the only pitfalls.

The room, beds and accommodations were wonderful. Stairs a bit of a challenge but added to the charm of the hotel. The barman was wonderful and the great central room upstairs was well stocked with coffee and teas.

The Breakfast was very limited. The food provided, I could have bought at the 7-11. This is the only item they need to improve to make this a full five star hotel in my book!

I was on road trip from San Clemente to where i live in PNW, washington.. I saw the town was feature in Huell Hower archives... i was like Disneyland without the hype...

The hotel was great. Very quirky. The barman was fantastic.

No elevator. The blinds in the room need to be replaced as didn’t cover entire windows which made it too bright to sleep well. The restaurant for dinner & breakfast were total crap. Went to another hotel for dinner and the “continental “ breakfast was absolute rubbish. Would be better to not offer breakfast.

It's small-town Americana at the Victorian Inn in Ferndale. Innkeepers Lowell and Jenny were exceptional hosts, and made us feel very welcome and at home. The rooms were larger than expected for an old hotel. Our room was upstairs, and there was a nice sitting room on the 2nd floor with a lounge area, games, and a Kerig coffee maker. A grab-and-go breakfast was available in the morning (a great option for those on the go) but they welcomed us to stay and eat in the restaurant/bar.

No place to lounge around during the day. Heat didn’t work the first night. No elevator….2 miles of stairs to 2nd floor. Glad I stayed there but stairs issue will keep us from going back.

1) The location. Ferndale is a rare gem. We are so glad that we found it. 2) The historical building. 3) The restaurant on the property is great. The service was slow, but the food was very good. 4) The price is reasonable.

1) There is a fire station in the town. They had two-three alarms during the night. The siren was VERY loud.

Ambiance, people, food at VI’s was fabulous and the complimentary breakfast that Lowell & Jenny offered at the Victorian Inn was not only healthy but delicious, the quaint town, felt very safe as we walked about this friendly town. We had a really great stay! Thank you!!

we needed the exercise so not having an elevator was no big deal it came with the era of the hotel. 😁

All in all we had a great visit. We love coming to Ferndale for a weekend and come quite often.

Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is great as it's within walking distance of stores and restaurants.

Did not like the breakfast as it was a grab and go and cold. We are used to having a hot breakfast at B&B's. While we understand that help is hard to find, a B&B should really serve a hot breakfast considering the price they charge.

We had an amazing visit and loved all the amazing antique decor and furniture.

Considering how the covid situation has closed everything down. We actually loved the gab and go breakfast option. Great choices for a quick breakfast. Loved the common room coffee service. And on the Drive home, we enjoyed the breakfast as snacks along the way. We enjoyed visiting with staff and loved our server we had for dinner. Amazing team! Looking forward to our next visit. We enjoyed learning about the history behind the Inn. The beds were very comfortable and the room was amazing with all the vintage charm.

Absolutely Nothing. We loved our entire stay. If I had to mention one thing, The stairs were hard for us old ladies getting our bags upstairs. But we laughed about it and made it happen.

Everything thing excellent, but beds were hard and uncomfortable.

The staff, facility, location, food from restaurant were exceptional. They really went above and beyond to meet my needs and expectations. The only downside were the beds. They were too hard, no pillow top and uncomfortable. Did not sleep well 2out of the 3 nights stay. Everything else was outstanding. Love our stay over all.
