Great Stay in Olympia

We booked this hotel despite the reviews and past experiences of the neighborhood being sketchy and car break-ins. The neighborhood has changed! We had no problem parking our rental car in the front, back, or side of the building. That being said, the staff was friendly and competent. Our room was very clean and huge. The bed was comfortable, there was a desk area for working, giant closets, and the kitchenette was well equipped. Coffee maker, toaster, plates and cutlery, and plenty of pots and pans. Full size fridge, two burner cooktop, and dishwasher. The bathroom was comfortably designed and everything worked well. The breakfast buffet included scrambled eggs, a meat (bacon or sausage), waffle maker, fruit, yogurt, cold cereal, instant hot oatmeal, bagels, muffins, English muffins, and a variety of dried fruits and nuts.

One morning the coffee was unpalatable.

Friendly staff.

Parking sucks, homeless everywhere, breakfast is subpar, bacon should be thicker than paper. To expensive for the amenities provided. . Furniture is obviously cheap. I expected better. The hilton in olympia is better, and at a better price.

Location and size of suite

Institutional smell and smell of cleaning products and smell of breakfast food permeates the place. Off gassing of furnishings and finishes is strong. Fridge froze my food. In room coffee service sucks. Terrible product.

Pleasant and very enjoyable

We arrived early and we just hoping to get a parking pass but a room was available and the check in was fast and efficient. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful and we would stay there again. Everything was really clean and inviting from the grounds, to the lobby and our room.

Excellent family friendly hotel

The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The location was perfect for our visit with family and very close to the Children’s Hands on Museum. Having a hot breakfast is a must when traveling with a toddler. The kitchen was fully appointed with a full size refrigerator. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

It was very pricey for a one bedroom.

1. The location was convenient. 2.The front desk staff were friendly. 3. It offered breakfast. 4. It had plenty of free parking spaces.

It offered breakfast, but when I visited it some of the choices were ran out. The unit I booked based on the photos on booking.com didn't have a tub. The rolling table had one wheel off and was very hard to put on ended up hurting my finger trying to put it back on. We ended up not able to use it.

Good location,room was good,but unclean

We were pleased with everything about this motel EXCEPT for the fact that the room was NOT clean, I am a Housekeeper by profession and was disappointed to find blood on the sheets and pillows, DEFINITELY not ours,we found trash pens and the last person to stay there's phone, the bathroom was wiped down but found another person's hair in the tub,we were kinda surprised to be honest as the entire rest of our stay was excellent.,so this said we will Not be staying here again.

Maids need to actually CHANGE the sheets not pull them back up and remake the bed,and yes I know this is done because I'm a housekeeper,was disgusting to find someone else's blood on my pillow. Because of This we won't be staying again.

Massive room

We arrived very early after a very rainy drive. The lady on reception was absolutely wonderful, she said we could check in straight away, gave us information on places to eat and what would be open for the time of year, so helpful. The room she gave us was fantastic, so large with a small kitchen area and a sitting room and large bedroom, some little chocolates, comfy bed and plenty of hot water which you don’t always get.

It was a great place to meet up with family; the perfect location for all of us.

The location was excellent and not too far from the main I-5 Hwy. The room was also very roomy and enough work space. We especially liked the pullout desk table which we then used it as the main dining table. The staff was very helpful as well; friendly and accommodating... Thank you Fletcher!

Parking spaces were a bit limited during the holiday as some arrived bringing more than one car. We arrived late due to a work schedule but we figured out the parking layout. After that, everything was fine.

Great location, right in the middle of town. Easy walking everywhere. Direct bus to Evergreen State College campus. Good kitchen facilities. Adequate parking.

Built like a roadside motel rather than a downtown hotel. As a result, no option to pay extra for rooms with a bit of a view, better light, more feeling of privacy from road, etc.

Bad

Upon checking we had to wait because nobody was at the front desk. The young man finally made it to the desk and did apologize for being away. With a sarcastic undertone he informed us that our room was not available but would upgrade us from a king suite to a double bed queen suite. That is not an upgrade because I booked a king suite he then said booking.com had sent confirmation that we booked a queen suit. I had the booking on my phone clearly showing a king suite. He said, well we don’t have any available. We were stuck there for 2 nights.

The room was not relaxing. The couch sunk in making a funny noise. The furniture was worn. The shower head had lime buildup. The people above us made noise late into the night and the police were called on a room a few doors down for a disturbance. What a mess. I could not believe this coming from a Marriott. We will never stay there again.
