Beautiful tropical location with gorgeous flowers and greenery around, and perfect for trips to Volcano National Park at night and early morning—the best times to go! The room was really well appointed. Comfortable room and homey feeling. Friendly staff with wonderful papaya and homemade banana bread in the mornings.
The bathtub divider came off when I nudged it. I was missing protein for breakfast in the morning.

Wanted something close to Volcano (and half way between Kona and Hilo) so it suited our needs. Breakfast was apples, instant oat meal, dried biscotti - nothing special. Coffee/sugar/milk. Would not stay more than one night.
Place is a little run down. Bathroom was very small - could not even put down a wash kit. Bathroom mat was dirty. Not a comfortable place to stay.
