We had a comfy stay in the clean, charming and warm rooms. And I appreciate that the hosts set up the room for 3 guests already when we arrived since we requested an additional bed in one room of the booking.

Great location in a rainforest setting and convenient to the National Park. Older property but well kept. Practices sustainability with rainwater capture and no housekeeping. Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Lodge restaurant served excellent food.

Staff and environment was just top tier. From checking in, and dining in the restaurant, we had no issues during our stay. The rooms are cozy and clean and comfortable. Although the hot tub was closed off, we still enjoyed our stay. The Ohia room was beautiful. Dining dinner options was excellent and great quality food and lots to explore around volcano area! Me and my husband checked out the trails at bird park up the road in the morning, amazing views and time. Mahalo for making our stay so special ❤️

The hotel was wonderful and the staff was incredibly helpful and kind. It was clean and comfortable although the heater didn't throw out enough heat to take the chill out of the air. Fyi there was not a tv but we didn't miss it. There is also a hot tub but we didnt use it.

We were greeted upon arrival and got an early check-in which was very nice. There are lots of room options, and our building had a common area with a fireplace. A very friendly young man even can to light it for us! The place uses catchment for showering and out of the tap but supplies bottled water for drinking. I do wish that bottle wasn't located in the bathroom. We had a two night stay and did not get a room refresh although the staff said to just ask and we could get whatever we needed The restaurant is lovely and we had the breakfast that is available for guests on the one day. Thank you for a great couple days!
