Great location to Volcano NP
Daily rate of $150 is reasonable …..due to it being in Hawaii……where nothing is reasonably priced .
Upon entry to room, very cold. The radiant heater took 24 hrs to heat room . We never turned it down or off for 4 days.
The large room only had two dining chairs for seating, no comfortable chairs or sofa.
No microwave, coffee maker, nor mini fridge in room. The facility had a shared kitchen with a minimal “ continental breakfast” available.
No staff on premises that we were aware of. A phone contact only.

Very clean large room. Quiet, comfortable bed and wonderful view of rainforest from our private balcony. They had a space heater in the room which made it cozy along with a large clean plush throw , It's quite cold at night in Volcano. They leave a live cam stream on the TV in the sharded living room.
Very close to Hawaii National Park and down the street from Kiluaea Lodge that has an excellent menu.and good food. They don't offer breakfast but they leave some fresh fruit on the counter for guests and they have a shared refrigerator. A market down the street has many things including yogurt , fresh eggs and items for breakfast or lunch you could prepare in the shared kitchen. They only have strong caffeinated teas so bring your own green or herbal.
We would stay here again. The manager Jon was professional and I liked the cat that was running around outside.
It was great to wake up to birds singing every morning
The long driveway has quite a few potholes that need to be filled in. They also could put a light on their volcano sign , it's hard to see the small entrance to the driveway after dark

We stayed here at the end of day one for the ultraman world championships. It was nice and close to town, and very comfortable!
Some of the areas in the bathroom could be cleaned a little better. But really minor.

This property is a joke. Orange color on the foto? It is not in real. Room is dark, cold and so damp! Pipes are so laud that you will have a wake up call at 5 am if other guest will be leaving early. When you flush the toilet, some noisy device turns on. Water in the sink smells strange. Hand soap? Almost none mixed with water.
I understand now why hotels have carpets in corridors. Here you will hear every step behind a wall. Noone will wait for you, only piece of paper on the door. Instructions everywhere. They want to be so modern but forget about basics. You must even wash a mug after using it. It is better to make a reservation in Hilo if Volcano is sold out.
