This was one of the best bookings I have experienced with an added bonus of how close it is to HVNP. The hosts are so knowledgeable of the area and considerate during our stay. I didn’t realize how nice it would be to have breakfast available every morning until our stay here. We had plenty of privacy, and the room was decorated so warmly and invitingly. There is parking on the property with a private walkway to the attached room, and we were greeted so kindly for check in and had a very simple check out. We had a comfortable time in Kīlauea House and would have loved to stay here longer than the two nights we booked.

Lovely, thoughtful hosts. Interesting, very comfortable furnished studio with a small lanai. Location close to Volcanoes NP and to several restaurants.

Everything was perfect! The hosts were lovely, friendly, and attentive, yet gave us privacy. The room was delightful and included everything we could possibly need.

Our three nights at Kilauea House were fantastic. The hosts were helpful and knowledgeable. They even made sure that we knew of the volcsnic eruption that took place on our first night, so we would be sure to see it. The Nene Room was beautifully appointed in honor of Hawaii's beloved goose, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the continental breakfast was much appreciated. (From the amplitude of the offerings, the continent in question must be Pangaea.) The location is quiet and the room had a private deck with a gas fire pit and cozy chairs for evening relaxing after days spent exploring the nearby national park Highly recommended!
