Lovely, comfortable place to stay
The host was very welcoming and helpful, and informed us about most important city spots and events during our stay. The apartment is located in the city center, but in a calm, side street, so it was really quiet. The room is nothing fancy, but it's lovely and comfortable. There are also thick curtains (not totally blackout, but enough) and mosquito window screen, so during warmer nights you can keep the window open all time. The bathroom was nice and clean, and all necessary toiletries, towels and bed linen supplied. There was also a small fridge available in the corridor, so you can actually leave some fresh food there, if you need.
Bed mattress was a bit too soft, but otherwise the bed was comfortable.

Very good, exceptional bathroom, friendly and helpful host, recommended. Think of the stairs.
Location is super, some corners from the very center, but not shops/restaurants so it is quiet. The bathroom was like new, I have never seen such a beautiful and clean bathroom, with two sinks, like in the movies. The fridge is not in the room, so no additional noise at night. The host was very kind and helpful. She could help you promptly.
The bed had two mattresses: a thinner one on top and a thicker, very soft one underneath. The soft one was too uncomfortable for me (although my wife liked it), so I removed it and slept on the thinner mattress placed directly on the bed base, which was much better. Unfortunately, I didn’t figure this out until after the first night, so I barely slept then—though the second night was fine. The apartment layout might be challenging for some guests. The entrance is on the ground floor, and the staircase first leads to the bathroom on a mezzanine level. From there, a few more steep and narrow steps lead up to the main room. This setup could be difficult for elderly guests and is likely unsuitable for people with mobility issues. The fridge is on the ground floor. It is much better then in the room (I hate listen to the fridge at night), but you have to use the stairs to reach it.

The perfect place to stay in Bruges if you are travelling light.
Communication with the host was great. She was very responsive and accommodating. The location was amazing. So close to the centre, but we didn't find it particularly noisy at night, even though we were so central - perhaps because we were not right on top of any bars or clubs. We got a bus from the train station which took about 15 minutes perhaps. Then it was just a short walk to the B&B. Really easy and again, our host sent us all the information for how to get there. The room was a great size and we found the beds comfortable and there was space to put suitcases too. The breakfast was wonderful! Very good value, delicious and definitely sets you up for the day! Overall, I would recommend this B&B and would definitely return if we go back to Bruges.
We knew these two points before booking, decided it would be ok for us for a few days, so we booked anyway. For some, they won't be important at all, but they will be negatives for other people, so I will explain them here to help people choose the right place for them: 1. the stairs - the stairs going up to both guest rooms are narrow and circular (meaning that the inner side of the step is even narrower than the outer one, making it almost triangular in places). They are definitely a bit tricky to climb with cabin suitcase - I would not want to try getting a full sized suitcase up them. My husband and I are in our 40s and both able-bodied, so the stairs themselves were OK, as long as we went up and down carefully. I would not recommend if you have any mobility issues. 2. there are two private bathrooms on a mezzanine level, which are for the two guest rooms on the first floor (i.e. not ground floor, for those who count differently). The room key and bathroom key is the same. Again, not a major issue, but sometimes it did feel like a bit of a hassle having to go to the bathroom with a key and then lock it with the key from the inside. I would have preferred having a code or some other way so as not to have to take the key with me to the bathroom and lock myself inside each time. This could also be an issue for people who don't want to leave their room unlocked while they are in the bathroom or if you want to get into the bathroom while one of your travelling companions is in there with the door locked, e.g. to check on them or to get something. Note - the host is always on hand and very responsive, so any I'm sure she would be able to assist with an issue or possibly provide a second key if requested. Overall though, the positives far outweigh the negatives and if you are not travelling with a ton of luggage and are OK with narrow stairs, then it is really a great place to stay in Bruges.

Very good
Perfect location right in the centre within walking distance to shops and stunning sites. Quiet, spotlessly clean and the most friendly accomodating host, Viviane. Highly recommend!!
