I loved everything about that place! Location is great, the suite number 5 was perfect for my husband and I!! The bar and resto down stairs was closed , they are having renovation but it was actually good for us because we Really wanted a relaxing weekend. Appartment is full equip , Netflix for movies lovers at night, beach chair and umbrella for beach lovers like us! Real privacy right into the best part of boardwalk! Thanks to the owners! Its was also very easy to check in!! 😍

Few details like the spa is hard to warm.. very long, or maybe it’s not supposed to get very hot Im not sure.. and the bathroom plug wasn’t working for hair dryer but there’s so many other plug so it’s no big deal..

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is very close to the wonderful beach. The hotel has charming atmosphere. Rooms in the apartment, thanks to tiny details, have nice french ambiance. Nice kitchen with modern fridge and stove. Stuff is very responsive and helpful. Hotel is close to the bus stops. It was quiet in the night. The hotel has 2 bikes, a few beach chairs, umbrela, boards for surfing ...

We rent a car for a few days and the hotel has limited number of parking spots so arrange the parking with the stuff in advance. The public parking looks as an alternative but it is not cheap.

It is a small apartment very cozy, very clean and a couple of minutes walking to the beach! We really loved it and we will come back. They were very responsive and helpful. You have to do the check in yourself. Parking is $20 very affordable. It is called Villa Sinclair on the GPS in case you can't find it.

The outside area.

I have a cleaning service and have worked in hotel,villas. It was not clean. No where on the booking stayed there would be a 200$ holding fee .I cleaned the place before I left and was charged for the sponge I used to wash the dishes, paper towels,was charged for a cleaning. So many unexpected charges. My family came over and it felt uncomfortable. I have fitted multiple hotels on Hollywood beach and this out of all I will not recommend. The appliance was dirty.

Beware of this owner!

the location and the hot sauna

When I got there the room I booked someone was in it and the owner said they were handicapped,...I met the young couple and there was no problem. the AC in the living room did not work and stayed 78 degrees in that room. I was going to have a friend come but since the owner did not fix this I had him not come. the owner literally walked into my suite without a knock or call the 2nd day I was there. I asked him why he did that and he said he "thought" I called about a clogged toilet. still NO knock. charged me EXTRA for "deep cleaning" when I cleaned the place before I left and took photos because I didn't trust this guy. Be very careful booking here and letting him take deposits...you won't get them back.

Modest villa and very close to the beach

Very close to the beach,very used bycicles that we could use during the stay,the owner gave as a place to take a shower the day we left

We found a cockroach in the bathroom. No room cleaning during the stay. At the end they charged 30 dollars for cleaning(not included in the initial price,4 dollars for kitchen paper and 3 dollars for a kitchen sponge that we never used

The property is located seconds away from the beach, restaurants, bars and everything else you need. The owner was nice and very helpful, room had a very homie fell to it, which I enjoyed. Would definitely come back here for a younger stay.

With its outstanding location, Villa Sinclair has amazing potential but needs a major face-lift.

Outstanding location a few steps from the beach & "Broadwalk", hosts Hughes & his wife were friendly & helpful...even took care of arranging an Uber to the airport for our early AM return flight. Two mini-splits & 2 large TV's all worked well, bed was comfortable, shower was powerful & free stuff like sunscreen, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer etc. were much appreciated. The keyless entry was convenient as we never had to think about losing a key. We were able to do our own laundry for free...no need to keep a load of quarters on hand as is often the case. The free welcome drink was a nice touch too!

My wife freaked out when she first saw the unit & wanted to leave...old furniture, drab draperies &, according to her, "ugly, scary "paintings (of which there are more than a dozen scattered throughout the unit) did not make a good 1st impression on her. To be honest, the couch & chair in the living room are indeed badly worn & very uncomfortable, and since the padding under the stained kitchen chair coverings is hardly existent, there was nowhere comfortable to sit. The bathroom is super tiny, the drain is badly rusted and the shower doors need an upgrade. The mirror on the medicine cabinet is ancient & rotting around the edges & should be replaced. The living room window in the ground floor unit we stayed in (Matisse Suite) opened onto the hotel's front patio and if we pulled back the drapes, we were open to the world...a window blind could solve the problem & let in some much needed light as well. There were sufficient kitchen utensils but no small juice glasses & only 2 dessert plates, The full-sized fridge was clean but so full of the owner's for-sale wine & beer that we found a lack of space for our own essentials!

Location was perfect, the beach was right out of the front door. The apartment and premises were absolutely immaculate. Every amenity that you would desire had a place in the apartment. The secluded “courtyard created an outdoor living space furnished amply with comfortable longe furniture. The bar was a delightful add on including tropical drinks and snacks. The decor throughout was artsy & very European. It felt like being in a pensione. Just a gem!!!

great location but beware of sneaky charges

location is perfect for the beach and boardwalk. unit is beautifully decorated with attention to details, very spacious 1 bedroom unit

1. The units are on the hookah bar property with windows and a bedroom door facing the bar. Loud music and noises are from 11 am to midnight. if you are looking for a quiet relaxing time, this unit is not for you. 2. The owner charges $200 security deposit. don’t expect any of it back as there will be sneaky gotcha charges at the end for the things that you normally don’t expect. there’s a fully stocked kitchen in the unit and some things included but some basic necessities are not. For instance, we were charged for using paper towel, kitchen sponge, already-opened and half-used detergent bottle. also there was a nice welcome bathroom basket on the bed when we arrived but we were charged $90 for the “gift”. We cleaned the unit thoroughly at checkout but still were charged the “deep cleaning fee”. Many resorts charge cleaning fees which are disclosed at the booking, but here it felt like another gotcha. The owner gives you the long list of what is included and another long list of what is not included, so you really have to consult the lists every time you literally touch an item in the unit. 3. The parking was available at the public lot two small blocks from the resort at the pre-paid weekly fee of $96. That was not a problem for us. The place is generally nice and we don’t mind paying extra on a vacation but the way those sneaky gotcha charges were done kinda ruined our overall experience and brought the mood down.

Wonderful location near the beach. Very clean apartment, with many extras included. Parking cost for the area was very reasonable and easy to use.

There are a lot of extra things in the apartment that you pay for if you use. Wine, lotions, liquor, pop and snacks, so you need to pay attention to the printed list. Also, keep your receipt from check-in so you can compare with the checkout total. I was overcharged, but when I realized it later the owner quickly resolved it. One other thing is to be aware that there is a lounge in the back and it can get a bit noisy until 11:00. This only happened a couple of nights, but should know if you are people that go to bed early.

Paradise at the beach!

The host was phenomenal! Super welcoming!! The room is spacious! There was pullout for additional bed and everything you need is there. He had cooler, towels, beach chairs, and bike ! Free of charge for a nice time at the beach! There's a bar/hot tub on the first floor.

Everything you use could be a potential extra charge to the room. There's a list what is free and what will be charged! Read it well!! The placement of the toilet was strange. Not much room because the sink is directly next to the toilet. If you're as tall person your knees may hit the sink.

Absolutely loved our stay! We do a weekend getaway once a month so we have stay at so many different hotels/ resorts and this is definitely our favorite place. The owners were super accommodating and go above and beyond. Its also kid friendly. Our two girls 4 and 6 had an absolute blast. The location is perfect. Everything you need in one location. Great food, drinks, and the beach steps away. Villa Sinclair is a hidden gem. We are already planning our return in a month or two.
