I loved it.
I liked everything about the property

The service was amazing — the staff was very warm, friendly, and attentive. The hotel has a classic style, but it is in excellent condition and very clean. It is also located in a very convenient area, just a 5-minute walk from the main casinos.

The room was huge! Older aesthetics but definitely didn't mind it at all. Bed was super comfy and everything worked great!
Nothing worth noting or can be actioned upon.

I liked the room and pool
I did not like that I received an email through booking.com from the hotel stating the pool would be closed during our stay. I did not notice the year mentioned was wrong, as I assumed this was current news. I did not bring a swimsuit and ultimately bought one in order to use the pool! This automated message needs to be corrected.
Also, I did not like that there was a swim school using part of the pool while my husband and I swam.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The property was near the River Walk and historic places. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable but a little outdated.

Location
Rooms need to be updated. Front desk not too friendly. Parking elevators not working. Pain. Bring back the breakfast. Covid is over. Where did the tv go in the pool room? Adding chemicals to pool while we are in it…lame.

No screaming kids or drunken gamblers. Good location.
A bit overpriced (to keep out the riff-raff?).

This was our second 1-night stay so we were familiar with the hotel. It is a hotel for those of us who come to Reno for other reasons than the casinos (they are within walking distance if that's your desire).
The hotel is a bit older with a lot of funky character. The rooms are larger than average, the beds are big and very nice, and the location is great (5 min drive from UNR and walking distance to the river park, restaurants, and the movie theater.
The 7th floor has a wonderful heated in-door pool that we spend a lot of time in.
We will be back.
We have nothing to complaint about. As long as you are ok with a bit funky (like each floor is decorated with a Reno history theme & the parking garage is a bit wonky) then you are fine at this hotel.

The location was great, staff was super friendly. We came to visit for the pride festival and will stay here again on our next visit to Reno.
The bathroom could have been a little cleaner

Reasonable cost, quite novel to stay in a retro American hotel, comfortable clean and handy to walk around, bonus of onsite parking, pool and roof deck
Nothing really comes to mind

Big beautiful room.
Being woken at 2 am every night for fighting at the bar across the street. It was entertaining but still. Being woken up with people yelling and fighting. Had me worried a gun would get pulled out and where is the bullets going to go.
For it being so nice it could use modern USB plugs for charging phones.

For a one night stay it was just fine. Close to casinos, where you can find a few good bars and restaurants and to downtown Reno, which in my opinion isn’t the best place to be.
Overall this hotel had what we needed after a long drive. A nice pool and lounge area and a nice rooftop patio. It was clean, we had a good sized room and free parking space.
At a first glance it may seem outdated, but it’s actually well maintained and it looked like they did some upgrades to the rooms.
The noise from a construction site across the street, but it wasn’t the hotel’s fault.
It would have been nice to have some breakfast offered.

The hotel is secure and clean. The staff was kind. We loved the pool, the sun deck and the pool table. It was excellent for our big family group. Parking is good too. We loved the bar which has a great bartender and open on Fridays and Saturdays. It’s a gem!
It’s not the hotel’s fault but there is a noisy club nearby. It didn’t bother all of us but if you’re a light sleeper perhaps request a room away from the main road and that might help.

Location. Close to River walk.
Clean
Inconvinient loading area and garage.
Garage: No acess direct from garage to hotel, dangerous driving ways and walking in garage. Elevators from garage is small, only for people, not for loading car and didn't work properly.
Location is good but not safe, the main entrance door is locked 24/7 for safety.

Super clean property with a good indoor pool. Parking was included in a small parking garage. The room was big and comfortable.
The decor is dated, but things were clean and cozy.

The esthetic was wonderful. The staff were extremely nice and caring. The location was great, with the riverwalk nearby, coffee shop and other food places across the street.
Parking was available but tight. Though the website and the staff explained that ahead of time.

Staff were AMAZING! Rooms were big and very clean. The place was quiet, comfortable, and close to the ballpark, restaurants, and the strip.
Parking garage is confusing and a bit crazy with basically a one-way ramp up and down with lots of honking and hoping.

Located close to the River Walk district and ball park. We came for the Party Animal v Texas Tailgaters, Banana ball game was a 10 minute walk. Each floor is its own decorated theme but is slightly outdated. Good price, with a private secure parking garage.
I wish it was updated. I felt like stepping back into the 1980-1990s.

Dated decor-almost vintage but not quite. They should lean into vintage to make it more ironic.
