Villa Elvina is superbly situated on the waterfront only 10 steps away from Drapanias beach of the tranquil bay of Kissamos in the West part of Crete in Chania perfecture with breathtaking views across the Cretan Sea and magnificent panoramic views of the 2 imposed Cretan towering capes,Gramvousa and Spatha. Surrounded by the 3 unique and worldwide awarded beaches of Balos,Falasarna and Elafonisi,Villa Elvina is located in a peaceful and unspoiled setting lined with romantic waterside restaurants. The location is ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside with exquisite picturesque villages,gorges,2000 natura areas,ancient archaeological sites and the historical yet modern town of Chania with its beautiful Venetian harbour.

The accommodation is on 2 levels:
The ground floor has a spacious open plan living area with fireplace,comfy sofas,satellite curved SMART T.V. with speakers,music/radio,2 dining areas,1 separate W.C. and a fully equipped kitchen including fridge/freezer with ice cube maker,oven/hob,dishwasher,microwave,toaster,kettle,juicer and luxury Nespresso/filter coffee maker. Unobstructed views of the Cretan sea and mountains through the glass sliding doors to the covered terrace and swimming pool area. On the ground floor,there is the 1st studio/type master bedroom of the villa with separate entrance. The studio/type master bedroom is 35m2 with a queen bed (2,00x1,60m),a spacious and unique designed wardrobe,a luxury living room with T.V.,a kitchen (with fridge,kettle and luxury Nespresso coffee maker) and a spacious lux en-suite bathroom with shower, wc and washbasin.
The first floor has the 2nd master bedroom with super king size bed (2,00x1,80m),a lux en-suite bathroom with bath, wc and washbasin,a separate toilette room for women with spacious and unique designed wardrobe and a big balcony with a luxurious sofa where you enjoy the magnificent views of the sea and the pool. The 3rd and the 4th bedrooms have each 2 single beds (convertible to super king size beds) and a common spacious comfortable lux bathroom with bath, wc and wash basin. Both bedrooms have glass doors to a large covered balcony with superb mountain views. On the first floor,there is a separate room for washing machine and ironing facilities.

The swimming pool with overflowing and impressive shape is 80m2 (1,45m deep) and it is surrounded with grass and wooden deck areas offering infinity sea views! The separate children's pool is 12m2 (45cm deep). Luxury with unique design sun loungers,outdoor seating areas,comfortable lounges,outdoor dining and bbq are the elements that compose the outdoor relaxation areas for reading,relaxing and sunbathing.

We spend two weeks with our two kids and parents (in total 8) in this beautiful Villa right next to the ocean. Our so lovely and kind host Eleftheria welcomed us warmly and gave us wonderful tipps for restaurants, places to visit, and things to do. There is everything and more you need for a perfect stay. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this beautiful, luxury house.
Our kids did not want to leave and at least want to come back every year from now on!
Thank you for making our visit to Crete so special!

The house was all that it promises and more. Eleftheria (owner) was very helpful and super lovely. Beach at the end of the garden, pool at your feet, Jacuzzi, nice local restaurant within walking distance and a good town with all you need 15 minutes away! What more could you want?

Fantastic property - very clean and good quality fittings and decor. The owner (Eleftheria) couldn't do enough for us (3 couples) - even to the point of providing games we requested and delivering them the following day, and supplying a wonderful meal for us one evening which we just had to reheat when we got back from our travels. The pool and hot tub were great and the BBQ area fab. The villa was easy to find and in a great location for exploring the western side of Crete. The details given on the website were absolutely accurate. We will definitely go back!

We have been away on many holidays with two other couples, staying in a huge variety of cottages in UK and villas abroad. We all agreed that our stay at Villa Elvina was the best of the lot. It was so good that we have already booked a week in September 2018 - not bad for someone who usually books last minute. The location of the villa is brilliant - it's a short walk to the sea (our record was 22.3 seconds) with friendly tavernas within a short walking distance. Kissamos is a nearby town (about 3km) - hardly touched by tourism with everything you need. Western Crete is a fabulous area to explore with wonderful beaches, towering mountains and fantastic walks. Returning to Villa Elvina after a day out was so nice. The pool area is incredibly comfortable (we bagged the double sun bed) and the outdoor hot tub is a real treat for those weary legs. There is so much space both indoors and out - if you want some time to yourself, there are plenty of spaces with somewhere to chill out. We barbecued one night and had a great meal on another night provided by the owner's mother. The bedrooms are spacious, with superb bedding and good bathrooms. Unlike many places, there is lots of comfortable seating downstairs and there are two smart televisions - we even watched some rugby one evening streamed from my phone. The owners, Eleftheria and her husband, are very welcoming and incredibly helpful. I sent an e-mail just before we got there, asking if they happened to have scrabble. The next day Eleftheria arrived with a bundle of games but was very apologetic that there was no scrabble as the only version she could get was using Greek letters but she was already on the case. Communication prior to arriving was outstanding and the information covered everything including very useful details about how to get there. Eleftheria met us on our arrival and showed us everything we needed. She shows a real concern for her clients and wanted to know what we thought of the villa. This winter she is already planning some changes to make the villa even better. It was a memorable stay. Our flights are already booked to Chania and we can't wait to get back.
