Villa Lydia I Superb views, two pools, next to the city

Wir waren eine Woche im Juni mit Freunden in dieser wunderschönen Villa. Es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt und die Villa sieht genau so aus wie auf den Fotos - wenn nicht sogar noch schöner! :) Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Zimmer sind alle super schön gestaltet, groß und jedes Zimmer mit eigenem Bad, das war super! Michalis war super freundlich und hat unseren Urlaub durch seine Hilfsbereitschaft und unkomplizierten Art noch besser gemacht. Danke für den tollen Urlaub!

Villa Lydia is outstanding. It's even better than the photos! It is situated on the hillside above Kissamos and the views are superb - yet it is only a short drive into Kissamos to the shops, restaurants, bars and beaches. It's possible to walk to town in about 20 minutes but it's not a particularly pleasant walk, steep, without sidewalks, so I woudn't advise it. But taxis are cheap if you don't want to drive. Actually you might not want to go anywhere as the villa is so beautiful, with indoor and outdoor pools, a fire pit, and multiple terraces and areas for sipping your cocktail. It has 6 bedrooms, 5 are ensuite and the 6th has a full bathroom adjacent, so it perfectly suited our family stay for my 70th birthday celebrations - 10 adults and 4 small children. Everything is of the highest standard - all the fixtures and fittings and furniture - and it's generally well-equipped. Michaelis, the host, is incredible and will always do his best to fulfill any of your personal requirements which in our case included three baby cots and three highchairs! He is so friendly, welcoming, attentive, helpful and quick to respond to any issues. He is a genuinely lovely person and really contributed to making our holiday so special.

No heating for the outdoor pool! It was the end of May and the water was decidely chilly! Too cold for 2 of the younger children to venture in, but the adults braved it! Everything else was superb.

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa war wirklich perfekt! Die Unterkunft ist genauso schön wie auf den Bildern – wenn nicht sogar noch schöner und grüner. Es war wirklich alles vorhanden, was wir brauchten – von Handtüchern und Bettwäsche bis hin zur Reinigung und Wäschewechsel während des Aufenthalts. Der Gastgeber war unglaublich aufmerksam und hat sich sofort um alles gekümmert, was wir benötigten. Wir waren fünf Familien, und die Villa bot sowohl innen als auch außen reichlich Platz. Egal ob Frühstück oder Abendesse, der große Tisch im Außenbereich hat genug Platz für 13 Personen geboten. Die Außenküche ist perfekt für ein gemütliches BBQ und lange Abende - auch im Oktober, da der Bereich Überdacht ist. Es hat sich wirklich wie ein Zuhause angefühlt - einfach ein toller Ort für einen rundum gelungenen Urlaub.

We were a 13 person inter-generational family that stayed at Villa Lydia for 10 nights in July 2023. The Villa and the services and support we received from Michalis, Elena and their teams was outstanding. The Villa is exactly as you see it in the pictures. The rooms were large and excellently furnished. The outdoor areas were well set out and provide plenty of space for sun and shade. I would highly recommend this villa and team for a family get-a-way.

Not a dislike, because its location provides powerful views, but I think that it is important that you have a rental car as the walk up from Kissamos town to the villa is steep, especially in the heat of the summer.
