A good nights sleep for a reasonable price.

Very courteous staff. Breakfast was about average, not exceptional.

Front entrance not well marked. Bathroom in guest room was very cramped.

The location to 65 was nice. The continental breakfast also had good options.

The room had a terrible smell to it…similar to the smell of a hospital or a nursing home. There was also hair in one of the towels in our bathroom.

Blood on the pillow shams , rips ave tears in the blanket. 9 am there was a lot of banging and loud noises. I was not notified that any type of work would be going on early in the morning the bed was also very uncomfortable. I slept on top of the pillows to add comfort.

The lady at the front desk was very helpful finding my misplaced booking and helping me park my RV so I didn't get blocked in. The room was quiet, the bed was comfy and I had a restful night.

For the money we paid we got a subpar experience. Merrillville does not have nice hotels!!!

Breakfast was a minus. The oatmeal was cold and lumpy, though you did have a lot of choices to add to it. For the price we paid for the room, the breakfast was lacking.

The two guys at the front desk were nice

The beds are too hard. housekeeping is very rude. I called around 9 am Saturday morning 6/22/24 to get some new towels. after 2/3 hours go by I had to call again the 2nd time no one answered. I found someone on the 3rd floor and asked for towels she stated that because we were staying and extra night that we would have wait. I explained to her that we are having a family reunion and we have already waited hours we would like to wash up ASAP. Although I did receive the towels she was very rude.

Breakfast was not good or substantial at all. Scrambled eggs tasted like powder eggs, the meat option was a beef sausage, not any form of breakfast sausage. Had high hopes on the oatmeal considering there is a beautiful display of oatmeal toppings, only to find a container with instant oatmeal packets and a pitcher of hot water. Coffee was warm, not hot.

No access to water to refill water bottles. Water bottles were placed in fitness center but only about 4, we didn't want to take them all... bathrooms in hotel room we were in was very small. We had no body wash in shower and didn't know until we were in the shower

Gross and traumatic

The property was fine for staying in for one night, beds were clean

Immediately when arriving into our room we noticed a musty smell, I believe it may have been from the air conditioner but the smell didn’t go away the whole time we were there. We only used the room to sleep so we just dealt with the smell for the time being. Upon waking up in the morning we noticed a bug infestation around the microwave and the table next to it. I called the front desk and informed them and they said they would have maintenance come check it out. We waited about 25 minutes and one ever came so my friend went to the front desk to see if we could get someone to come look at the bug problem. Again we waited and no one came to look and by this time it was time to check out. There were 2 cleaning people outside of our room so we asked one of them to come look. He replied that this was a problem and that the maintenance person wasn’t even there so he was unsure why the manager would say that and that he would get her right away, so now after the third time asking we finally got someone to come down and look. After she got to the room and saw she replied that this was an issue and she sees why we were freaking out. I wasn’t able to get refunded since I went through booking.com but she did give me points towards a future stay. The way the manager just so casually brushed us off really bothered us and rubbed us the wrong way. I had all my clothes and make up on the table the bugs were on and it was just a really gross experience.
