No breakfast was provided.
The assist bar in the bathroom by the toilet was mounted to low to assist in getting on and off the toilet. It was about 12 inches too low.

It was affordable and close to the venue we were going to.
Bar closes at 12.

It was located near the Clackamas Towne center for Christmas shopping and very nice restaurants. The newly updated property was EXCELLENT and comfy! It allowed us ot celebrate our Nov. 24th anniversary and the start of the Christmas season.. Close to downtown and a pleasure to stay at.

The location was perfect. The room was clean and stocked with towels, coffee pods, iron and board, shower accessories.
The long curtains are only partial and cannot cover the pull down blind over the large window that lets in entirely too much light from the interstate on the back side of the hotel where our room was.

We had a long wait, first to be seated and then to be approached. We tried to do dinner but when we went there was an hour long wait, there was no seating in lounge either. There were empty tables that must've been for reservations which is why it would be nice upon check in to be told to make a reservation if planning to eat on site....we left for dinner but we came back in for breakfast where it again took some time to be acknowledged and once seated to be approached for drinks and/or order. Food took a good 40 mins to get to us although it was very good...again, had we known that we should make a reservation prior, it would've been much better. Seems as though you could use more wait staff as well.

Location for our shopping needs.
Clean rooms
Wish we would have known that the hotel was going through renovations
Originally ice machine on our floor wasn’t working and since not working we had to go to restaurant for ice
It’s a Hilton so some sort of breakfast would have been nice

It’s proximity to Kaiser Hospital in Clackamas.
The facility was under construction. Something I wish we had known before we booked. Many items were not functional or missing entirely. The front lobby was not even accessible through the main entrance. We had to enter through a side door and follow signs to the lobby. The first room they put us in the door would not lock the bolt would not catch in the door jam. I called the front office to let them know and they said that maintenance was dealing with another problem so they would change rooms for us. The second room was dark, and when we went to look for the light, the main lamp in the corner was not plugged into anything, and there were no outlets anywhere in the vicinity to plug it in. The hotel phone was not connected so we could not call the front desk using it. There was no clock on the nightstand so we had to use our telephones. The microwave panel was all in French so we could not read the instructions on how to operate it. Overall I would not stay there again Even once the renovations are complete. To be quite frank, I probably would have pursued getting some sort of voucher or partial refund for our stay, but my mother was doing in the hospital the next day for a heart procedure and that was far higher of a priority for me at the time.

Television relies on an inadequate WiFi (all streaming) and is constantly freezing and unwatchable. Need better WiFi with all smart. TVs

We stayed here for a long weekend for a friends wedding nearby. Overall, it was a nice hotel, even in the middle of renovation. The room was very roomy, comfortable, and we had a nice view to the courtyard which was a nice surprise. There is a restaurant/lounge on-site which is always nice, but it would be great if they provided some type of vegetarian/vegan option for breakfast. Some people cannot eat eggs, and the only vegetarian options were with egg.
The breakfast and evening menu items were not vegetarian/vegan friendly. The renovation while opened really was a damper on the experience overall. Unfinished projects, the lobby was super makeshift. Our friends dad actually fell due to a lump in the temporary hallway carpet. Overall, it was a nice stay, but opened while renovating, and charging high prices while this is happening, is not fair for anyone.

Convenient location just off of Interstate 205. The hotel is undergoing a major renovation.
The walls are very thin. We could hear everything from the bathroom next door. Perhaps they should have considered this during the design of the renovation.

It was a great location. Very clean.
I didn't like that they changed me 3 times for the room after talking to them twice the waited for a manger to get in and situation was fixed after that.

Didn’t get the room we asked for and they put us on the highway side so we didn’t sleep well

The location really was the key for my trip. The front desk staff were very helpful and professional.
I understand, my stay was at an unfortunate time while undergoing construction, however due to the construction, entering in a safe manner was a slight concern. The heavy equipment was not properly roped off and they had a lifted load left parked next to the side entrance to the hallway by the main entrance.

Although we did not use, pool was available this time! Staff were friendly.
This used to be called the monarch. When we first booked on this Webb site it did not say that it was Hilton Garden. We’ve stayed at the Monarch before, so if we did not know it was here we would have been confused on how to find it. This facility is under construction, which is understandable for any dust or noises however, there were workers working in the middle of the night while we tried to sleep. Our room is butt up right next to the hall that was under construction. It smelled. As far as the rooms they were updated and looked very nice. The water temperature for the shower or the sink took about 5 minutes for it to warm up Each one of us had to run the water for a while before we could get in. There was no phone in our room when we needed or had questions. Our door did not deadbolt-we had to lift the door so the lock would go into the catch.

Despite a full blown construction project everything was great. Can't wait to see the finished product.
We were on the 3rd floor along with several youth basketball players and parents. Never heard them at night but there was a lot of running around and playing in the stairwell and elevator. I am not blaming the Hotel but the parents need to be more aware. Signs were posted to not use the stairwell but that did not stop the kids. Safety first!

My daughter loved the pool and the vibe poolside was very cool for a weird suburban motel-hotel. I think in its normal state the place is cool.
The place is half torn up because of construction and I was not informed of how disruptive it would be prior to booking. My room lacked a phone, ice bucket and other standard amenities. Posted signs were ambiguous and unhelpful. The staff are doing their best under the circumstances (place is being turned into a Hilton Garden Inn) but I found it so dysregulating and anxiety provoking to stay here.

Hotel is under construction and our room was sight by the construction site. People started working around 5 AM doors were slamming shut shaking the wall of our room. We unfortunately booked 2 night and could not sleep in because of the noise and door slamming.

I liked the water sounds. A flowing water feature-river-like outside of my windows.
My room was near an exit emergency end of hallway staff only entrance and exit. The door slamming noise every five minutes until around midnight… The entire hotel is under construction-remodeling. Maybe that is the only door used by staff while they’re remodeling. I’m sure after they’ve finished. The place will be much more quiet and will look and feel 100% better.

Wasn't told it was under construction. Woke up to painter looking in my window. had to use side entrance to access everything. I'd wait a year before I booked a stay here.

I liked the location but the hotel was under construction and was just really unprofessional almost like they didn’t plan well for this.
Construction and how it was happening next to our room and also the lobby was basically outside and staff seemed unprepared and unprofessional. First thing I heard in the morning was the construction. Absolutely not worth my money

The hotel was currently being remodeled. Our room was one of the remodeled ones and was nice. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The shower was also nice. The staff was friendly but some not overly knowledgeable.
The wifi was non existent and the tv did not operate because of it. I ended us using my own data from my plan. This did not help the tv situation. No instructions were provided. The front desk did not understand my questions about the tv. No breakfast. Could not use the stairs. Window in the room was constantly fogged up.

We liked the newly remodeled rooms, friendly staff and the restaurant/bar.
The unheated pool.
4.0 / 10.0
I was not aware they are going through a complete remodel. The stairways were closed & very slow elevator. The TV in room was not connected and requested to have it checked twice during my 3 day stay noone ever did. The small fridge barely was colder than room temp even with knob on coldest setting. The only plus was the AC worked very well & bed was comfortable. Other than that I would've found another if knew it was under construction.

Completely under construction, terrible signage and should honestly just be closed until done renovating.

the restaurant was good
there was “body” hair in the bath, lots of it. The bed was a rock, the pool was dirty, there was construction going on that we weren’t told of. it was old and dirty. The pillows were old and lumpy. The floor in our room was so uneven you couldn’t put anything round on the desk it just rolled off. Basically if they were going to clean it and repair it they should not have charged full price or shut the doors.

location
very unhelpful staff. misdirected in terms of where to park for easy handicap access to our room. it was full of discarded furnishings from the rooms. would not help us find a cart to move our luggage (my husband is disabled). dirty dishes outside our room at time of check in and still there when we checked out the next day. Drapes were ripped and did not close all the way. handicap parking was a joke. Location was great and that is the only positive thing to say.
3.0 / 10.0
The quiet.
Outdated, not excited to “pay for parking” when other hotels don’t charge to park. Nothing exceptional about this property and it’s outdated. Better off the stay across the street at the courtyard Marriott. Way nicer for the price and you don’t have to pay to park.
2.0 / 10.0
The location is good, but there are much better hotels in the area for the same price.
Entire location is extremely run down and very overpriced, especially since they decided to start gouging customers for parking. Its comparable to the Quality Inn across the street, which is a fraction of the cost. Loud heater, really hard to pull the shower faucet on, extremely dirty from the construction dust being tracked all over, windows were unlocked in my first floor room, cleanliness was questionable, lighting is extremely dim (plenty of fixtures, just very dim bulbs). The entire place is just really run down, and supposedly they are remodeling but I travel to the area for business every month and I have noticed that absolutely nothing visible every changes, exact same boarded up windows for months, etc. Although, there is deep construction/drywall dust in the hallways, with footprints, so maybe something is happening.

Location was good. Didn't have breakfast.
The bed wasn't comfortable at all. The rooms was outdated, seemed old.
