Outstanding stay and close to Midway Airport

Everything from being picked up at the airport to being welcomed once i walked into the doors. The place was very clean and great decor. Had a nice bar and dinning area. Plenty of tv's and snack area that you can get items from. You can charge to your room certain items,food,drinks. The staff was very kind and friendly

Overall nice hotel

When trying to check in 25 minutes early was told that it would be $25 and also they tried to charge me for the water in the room had to call and get a refund because I did not drink the $3 waters

My stay was absolutely wonderful.

My room was clean and spacious. I liked that to access rooms you had to use your room key on the elevator. The breakfast was delicious and I liked that the room was cleaned daily.

1st time Chicago

Front desk crew was exceptional. Tee and Isaiah were friendly, professional, and provided great info about the Chicago area. Wonderful to see them every morning we were there. Shuttle to Midway was a game changer that saved us time because we took the metro everywhere during the stay.

The airplane noises in the morning woke me up, but of course that is expected because it's close to Midway. So I understand.

You’re always supposed to get a warm cookie. That’s why I stay at double tree. This time? No cookie! They tried to hand me some gluten free thing in a wrapper. No thanks.

Stroke of genius!

The bed and linens were nice but the pillows were awesome. Like the sports bar on site.

The weather was bad. The power to the hotel had gone out but had been restored. The outage caused issues with their computers so they couldn't check people in. After standing in line and sitting on the floor (there were so many customers waiting in the lobby there was nowhere to sit) for 2hrs they finally pick up a clipboard that had a hard copy of the customer roster and start checking people in. Really?! Why make customers wait hours uncomfortably when you had another option? I'm sure the very very pregnant lady in line next to us, who was obviously very uncomfortable, would've appreciated it even more than the rest of us had they had this hard copy stroke of genius sooner!

Can hear the trains screeching at all times of the day and night. Water damage on the ceiling of the shower where parts of the ceiling is coming down. Shower kinda dirty

Our stay was very comfortable and the property was clean.

The property was close to the venue I attended. I really enjoyed the restaurant in the hotel and the food was wonderful.

Housekeeping did not come in everyday to replenish towels, coffee, etc.
