Hotel Royal New Orleans

Beautiful old French/spanish hotel with an amazing courtyard! Quiet location 2 blocks from bourbon everything within walking distance and wish we didn’t have to leave! Accommodating hotel staff and very clean and cold rooms

Perfect location on Royal Street in French Quarter. Walkable distance from most of bars, restaurants, attractions. We arrived so late due to flight delay but check-in smoothly worked.

This is not typical hotel like Hilton, Hyatt, etc so you should not expect luxury hotel condition. The floor is tilted and the room is small (but it was clean and nice enough) Housekeeping came at 9 am, which is too early for me and we didn't expect at the time so asked the staff to come back afternoon. However, the houskeeping didn't come back in the afternoon so we had to ask for additional towels.

I loved the little courtyard but not much else.

The rooms are insanely small and they don’t tell you that you have to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs to get to your room. Very unpleasant experience.
