Location, it’s on the esplanade side of the quarter, when the jacuzzi worked it was ideal, it’s a lovely intimate courtyard
The jacuzzi only worked on the Thursday and Saturday

Location, price, staff. Pool area is very nice, but small. Any more than 3 people in the hot tub is too much.
Thin walls, very thin doors. You could hear anyone outside the doors talking very clearly, even if they were on the floor below, as well as the opening and closing of doors and the cleaning persons vacuum. It was also quite easy to understand the conversation of the people we were sharing a wall with, although they were respectful and it was only during the day.
The curtains on the doors do not cover the entire window so as soon as the sun comes up your room will be pretty bright.
The tv didn’t work at all, it’s just a decoration. It would turn on and that’s it, couldn’t connect to internet, no way to watch anything other than the input screen menu. I get it’s NoLa and you’re not supposed to be your room watching tv, but it’s nice to have something on while I’m waiting for my partner to shower or while laying in bed before sleep.
No microwave in room, so eating leftovers isn’t really gonna happen.
There is no rooftop bar as advertised. Just a smoking area on the roof with an empty bar.

I appreciated all of the staff and the amenities included in the stay. The pool and hot tub was close to all of the rooms and very comfortable to enjoy. The free water and tea in the lobby was nice when arriving or leaving the stay, and the staff was always friendly and helpful!
I think that the room was a little bit small and close to the pool, but it was worth what I paid for and was still and excellent stay overall!

We loved the staff, they were always so lovely. The location is close to all of the popular French Quarter hotspots. The hotel and rooms are very sweet and we loved the way they have been styled but still keeping the authenticity of the 1980’s build.
The only two things were, the hotel bar was not open which was a shame and our shower curtain was covered in mold so we had to buy bleach for the shower. The room and everything else was super clean.
