Great place to stay in Riomaggiore.

Lovely to have a small balcony to see the ocean from our 4th floor room. The room was clean, comfortable and everything we needed.

It wasn't a big deal but I couldn't get the wifi to connect in our room. It worked down in the lobby but not in our room. The building is near the top of the very steep main street that runs through Riomaggiore but we got our exercise :)

Get the balcony room (amazing), otherwise not worth it

Amazing balcony with great view. We had the only room with a balcony in the guest house and it was definitely worth the money. Roberto left us a a few soft drinks and information booklet for our arrival and tea and coffee, and always responded quickly to texts. Its location is great for exploring the main street of Riomaggiore. What set him apart was his very helpful messages on how to get to the apartment before our check in as well as discounts for the lofts and cinque Terre passes.

Room was basic and very loud. Elevator opens directly into room so you can hear very clearly every time it moves and does sound like people are coming to your level. Fridge and aircon also quite loud and didn’t work super well. We appreciated the clean every day but it was quite minimal. Shower pressure occasionally went out or cold. Room on smaller side. If you are claustrophobic, the lift is tiny and it is a lot of stairs to climb every day.

Perfect stay for a weekend

Loved Roberto and this property. It’s at the top of town so close by to everything and the room was spacious, clean and all we needed for a weekend stay.

A lot of light in the room at night and when the sun comes up, so be aware the blinds aren’t black out.

Staff were fantastic! Room v spacious with a comfortable bed. A bit of a hike up the hill with bags.

Staff, spacious and very quiet. The elevator was great which popped out into the apartment on the top floor.

Roberto is a lovely host and the rooms are spacious. He went out of his way to accommodate our needs which was much appreciated. If you are trying to decide which village to stay in, choose Riomaggiore because it is small, beautiful, and has some of the kindest people.

Wonderful!

The location is great (in the center, less than 150m from the church of San Giovanni Battista) and the room is very spacious with all the equipments we could need (even an elevator in it!). Our host was very kind and very helpful. He welcomed us with a great appetizer platter (including 2 bottles of Aperol Spritz and 2 bottles of fruit juice). In addition, we also had self-service bottles of water, yogurts and homemade cake in the common room. We will obviously come back there on a next visit in Riomaggiore!

Everything in the room was very clean and well organised. The room was even better than the pictures actually, spacious, bright and beautifully decorated! Literally everything was provided inside the room and the host was kind enough to have some juice and snacks available for us! Plus a dossier full of important info and tips for our stay! The location was also great :) I am definitely planning to go back!

There wasn't any breakfast served probably because of covid restrictions. There was tea & coffee making available in the bedroom & a mini fridge.

Comfortable apartment at the upper end of the main street

The host was super helpful and friendly, the apartment was clean, the bed was comfortable, even some soft drinks, coffee, tea, jam and toast bread were included in the price. The elevator of the building opens right into the living room which makes the place exclusive (its door can be locked of course). The apartment's windows face the main street - which can be noisy - but when the windows are closed, the apartment is completely silent.

The apartment has no kitchen and washing machine, but there is a fridge and there is a laundy service in the street (washing: 4 EUR, drying: 4 EUR, detergent: 1 EUR).

Beautiful room in Riomaggiore

Spacious room, clean, lots of snacks and drinks stocked in the room for free, the view out of the windows was gorgeous, no better place to wake up. Terrace on fourth floor was also great.
