The Orchard Hotel Ukiah Wine Country Free Breakfast, Pool, & Hot Tub

Everything was clean and nice.

Door handle were hard to open, hot tub paint was chipping off

Inexpensive, standard, two-star location with comfortable rooms. Very clean overall, and the beds had lots of pillow options from soft to firm, so I slept well.

Small cramped toilet area right next to shower/tub which was awkward. Laminate floors throughout the room, which are easy to clean, but some type of carpeting would have been nice.

Location close to the freeway for easy access. Large TV in room.

Beds were uncomfortable, bathroom door was clearly not cleaned, toilet was unstable, breakfast was okay but there was not alot out.

Spacious

Well i wasn’t expecting to stay next to a funeral home services. In an old Denny’s Breakfast Building. Housekeeping wasn’t the best, when I returned back to my room my bed wasn’t made or had new sheets. The only ting that was replaced were the towels that were used and it wasn’t swept or mopped, I noticed coffee stains on the floor I accidentally spilled not cleaned around the toilet either.

Breakfast? They didn't have black tea, even when I asked specifically. 2nd day, they offered me some so that was nice. The room actually surpassed what I had expected with it's remodeled look, microwave, nice fridge, safe etc., and lots of nice, usable pillows! I love that their swimming pool has wheelchair access.

I was very upset about a hidden pet fee. When I booked through Booking.com I stated that I had 1 dog/pet and the charges NEVER MENTIONED a pet fee but when I got there they insisted I had to pay an extra $25 PER NIGHT and was then charged SEPARATELY from my actual charge. I am not saying that hotels shouldn't charge a pet fee, I am saying IT NEEDS TO BE STATED AT THE TIME OF BOOKING! I actually chose this place over another one that looked nicer because I was going to save the $50 pet feet that the other place doesn't hide. SO: pet owners BEWARE! You are being charged without your consent, but after your arrival....when you can't just cancel and look for something else.

I have stayed at this location for over a decade when I'm in the area. It is a choice accomadation, the former Super 8 is currently under the Orchard hotel same family ran business. The price is most accommodating for the area offering a hot continental breakfast, laundry, pool and hot tub. The rooms are cozy and updated. There are nearby stores and restaurants. I highly recommend the Orchard Hotel when staying in Ukiah!

They're was nothing I disliked

The property is super well done, clean and very comfortable. We loved the all white interior and exterior. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Could not have picked a better place in Ukiah!

This location was conveniently located right next to the freeway, but this seemed to bring in some sketchy people who were hanging around the parking lot. Rooms were clean and they allow dogs for a $25/night fee.

The breakfast is almost inedible and the hot tub was not hot (it was November though and there was no cover on it so not sure how it was supposed to stay hot).

Room was dirty, mud on floor not cleaned or mopped. Spiderwebs in the corner. TV screen was dirty had splatter on it. And last of all we had a non-smoking room that had a strong smell of marijuana. I asked for another room, but clerk told me that was the last room.

Price

I absolutely recommend this hotel to any/everybody...I mean the young man that checks you in (most of the time), his name is HAPPY lol. Beautiful energy from all staff extremely welcoming quick to accommodate for my comfort. Love them!

The only thing that could have been better was...I really can't think of anything!

Room smelled like a wet dog walking in, as well there was mold on one of the bed pillows. The beds were very uncomfortable, was and were no where near as nice as reviews stated. The tiny bathroom and tub/ shower was grimy and did not have a clean smell or feel to it at all. It was short of disgusting. A poor quality renovation throughout, curtains were old, the shower curtain had brown stains of god knows what? We kept our shoes on because the floor was so funky you did not want to be barefoot? The hardware on all doors ill-fitted. Paint throughout and obvious cover job? Again this motel is no where near as nice as a lot the ratings reflected. From the ill-fitted flooring to the dirty pillows and funky smell of the room, this was a complete disappointment after seeing all the 9 and 10 reviews it felt like a bait and switch. This is a mediocre motel at best and no where near the 9.8 rating shown, a 5 to 7 is much more honest by Bookings ratings. Would not stay again ever, cannot recommend.

Very clean and comfortable at a very reasonable price.

The check-in was quick and easy, and the room with a view of the river and bridge was great... it was quiet, clean and perfect for our stop!

The dog area was well lit and had bags and dump area. Parking was well lit also

Some hairs were found on the towels. The pillows were too big and soft, hence uncomfortable. The breakfast, although included, was scarce.

Very dirty floor, unbelievable dirtiness. Very bad beds, not so much towels and no pool towels. Breakfast was empty at 8:00am, no one filling up the items. Just coffee, waffle dough and cereals without milk. The pool was dirty. Absolutely not about all reviews we have been reading about this hotel before

The pool is very dirty, they didn't clean it. There cigarettes, garbage in the pool.

Comfortable bed, clean room, nice and cool AC, big screen tv, friendly staff. Good location as close to a variety of stores and restaurants.

Isn't much to not like about the room, rate, staff and amenities. All above average. The only minus I would give is maybe the Continental breakfast was mostly gone by 7:30 but still had waffles, fruit, coffee, juice, toast and cereal so no biggie for the price. Definitely recommend.

Right off the freeway, quiet residential. EV chargers right outside the office. Flat fee of $20 to charge.

The mattress was awful. A man that looked to be homeless was staying there. I thought maybe the county was paying for it to keep him off the street?
