I loved that the Claremont offers room service! So many hotels have ended room service and it was such a delight to be able to have coffee and breakfast in our room. Every employee we encountered was so nice and friendly-- the service was exceptional.
Our room was noisy - it almost sounded like people were moving furniture on the floor or in the room above us.

Beautiful, renovated historic property. Stunning views of the Bay and San Francisco. Great sports and club options.
But NONE of those resort amenities was actually available during my stay — even though I was charged a hefty “resort fee” every day. My pickleball class sign up was cancelled because of a light drizzle (!). And the spa is only open on weekends — a fact left off the website — so no bookings were possible there. It was up to me on a tight schedule to just “find something available” at the club. Not good.

incredible view to Bay... above and beyond call o fduty and extremely helfpul staff, especially Barsha and Effie !
Old style , large hotel, delicious food, with two places to eat - access to spa, gym and pool ... definitely go back, jazz night in lobby,
all good .. obviously expensive but worth it !

Service was pretty bad, loud outdoor noise from trash pick up.
