Dirty floors no table. Front desk is not there only during check-ins and outs. No one to help u. If anything else happens ur screwed. Smelled like bleach for a while

We enjoyed the proximity to the boardwalk and comfort. It does need upgrades and more parking

We liked how comfortable the bed was, the AC worked well, and it was a quick walking distance to the restaurants and boardwalk.

There were a few strands of hair stuck to the shower wall and one on the comforter, and there were things falling apart (the ceiling molding, smoke detector), and the door had a massive crack so we could hear everything outside of the room with talking, walking, and noises.

The beds were comfortable.

There was a funky smell in the room. The floors were dirty so try putting some shoes while waking around. Needs a new paint job. There was some mold in the shower. Parking was full so I had to find parking on the street.

Better than expected, good location, at an adorable price.

The person at the front desk was very friendly and guided us on where to park when the lot was full. The room was nicer than I was expecting based off a few pictures I saw online. There were a good amount of pillows, a working tv, and a fridge. Everything was very clean as well.

The AC does not push out air very hard and is on the side of the room by the bathroom not by the bed so it was a little warmer than we would prefer to sleep in but it wasn’t bad.

Run down motel right next to the beach

The property was close to the Santa Cruz boardwalk.

The room was run down and the baseboards were quite dirty. There was only one roll of toilet paper. The toilet took several times to flush. The coffeemaker was dirty and didn’t work properly. And there was no local trash bins to utilize. I believe we were sold a run down room because we mentioned a 2 year old would be present.

The front desk person was nice but was wearing clothes that were messy and sloppy. Not even remotely professional.

It was a very tight fit. Tight parking and very limited. Stairs and walkways are narrow. The HVAC is tucked away by the bathroom and doesn’t effectively cool the room.

I'd stay there again, definitely

I had difficulty getting information about this place ahead of time, and it's only staffed a few hours a day, I think. Phone calls are answered with generic texts. BUT it was perfect for us. Three large beds (two kings and a queen, though they said it would be three queens, and earlier they said it would be three fulls, so there were communication problems, but in the end it was better than I expected.) One bed is in a separate room with a door, which is fabulous, except it doesn't have its own air conditioning, so it was pretty warm. The bathroom is nice since the toilet and shower are together behind a door, but the sink is outside, so very convenient for four of us. (Grandparents and two teenage grandchildren) Fantastic location, right near wharf and Boardwalk. There were enough towels, soap, shampoo for the four of us. Price in August: a bit over $200.00.

Someone outside was smoking at about 7:30 am but there was no one at front desk to help us. I only met someone for about three minutes when I checked in, and they were very nice. And as I said, air conditioning in the bedroom would have been nice, but if the separate bedroom HAD air conditioning, the price would have to be quite a bit higher.

The rooms were filthy and had a terrible smell. People would smoke and drink outside their rooms late at night, and kids would be sleeping right next door. To make matters worse, you’re paying almost $300 for zero parking, forcing you to park your car on the side of the street. The inside of the room was terrible. The TV didn’t work at all, and the room didn’t come with anything. The bathroom was incredibly small, and the shower was extremely bad. If you took a shower, you would have slipped and hit your head on the floor.

Perfect stay in Santa Cruz

Loved this hotel. Ideally located for me between the downtown area and beach. Great burrito/coffee Cafe just over the other side of the road. The pool was nice and refreshing. Very comfortable bed. Nice having a microwave and fridge, etc. I arrived by bus, which was a good walk but doable. There did seem to be local buses going past, so I guess I could have got on one of them.

The only issue was there weren't any sun loungers around the pool. It was garden furniture, so I had to put a few chairs together to be able to lie out and sunbathe. (Beach was way too windy and sea too cold for me!)

The location is great. It is within a few minutes walk to the broadwalk, pier, and some downtown shops.

Check in was slow, the slowest I've ever encountered. The rooms are extremely small, are old and the walls were thin so we could hear every single noise there was outside. Our room had blood along the window frame inside our room and the ceiling. Parking is scarce. This place is more for a low budget young couple with no kids.

Cute and comfortable, but restroom STINKS!

The staff, the location and the comfort of the beds. It’s a cute little hotel room. Had a microwave, fridge, TV and WiFi. All the essentials for my family.

The only thing I have to complain about is the awful smell of the restroom. God it was horrible. It legit made my stomach hurt. Keep the door closed and you should be fine. And if you need to use the restroom, hold you breath. You could even smell it by inhaling through the mouth. That’s how horrid it was.

Despite rooms being available the staff sat in reception with the door locked, with a big queue of guests outside until exactly 3pm, not enough parking for the amount of rooms, despite rules of quiet time after 9pm there were still people allowed to gather around the pool shouting, drinking and smoking cannabis until way after 11pm

The location was convenient to the area we wanted to be. The hotel is pet-friendly and the room was very clean.

There was limited parking, and we had to park in the street which has meters from 8am to 8 pm 7 days a week. There wasn’t anywhere to hang clothing in our room; it was quite small as well.

It was close to the board walk.

We made reservations for a single king and when we arrived it was taken. To make thinks worse the double queen room 129 smelt like straight sewage. We complained and nothing was done cuz it was the last room available.

Excellent proximity to Boardwalk & Pier, beds were fairly comfortable, reasonably clean, kids enjoyed the pool. Pool was aged, could use a painting/ resurfacing, but water was clean and heated. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Water pressure was great in room

Distinct shortage of outlets in our room!. There was 1 accessible outlet between the beds, which was in the base of a lamp. The outlet itself had a broken edge but still worked. Also, towels were tiny and rough

My room was secluded in the back of the hotel tucked in the corner. There was construction going on next door when arrived at 6:30pm on a Friday evening. I didnt mind that but they were blasting music + doing repairs until 8:30pm. While walking to my room - the front entrance was bombarded with sleep mattresses and shelfs. It seemed very sketch and there is no natural light coming from our window which made it less welcoming. I went back to the front desk and requested a different room, the gal said they were all completely booked. However, this was a lie because my friend checked in later that night and she was given a different room/upgrade. Once I was given this information, I kindly went back to the front office again and requested a different room. Again - nothing available. My husband woke up to construction the next day and was very unhappy.
