They reject the room change request because they didn't want to change a used handwash cloth.

1. My request to change a room, due to the reason that it's located right in front of the highway, and it's too noisy. Unfortunately, the request was rejected with a lying reason that said there is no more room. I checked in around 2PM. After hearing the conversation between the front desk and the room-cleaning staff, I believe the real reason is that I used a handcloth. I hadn't had any good sleep during the two-day stay. 2. The reason I booked this hotel is that it boasts on the booking website that its breakfast is "a very good breakfast". This is not true. Don't let the "very good" words mislead you.

Not again

This is a basic “motel 6” style hotel. The room is very basic. I did not feel safe in this hotel. Would never recommend to a single woman. Lots of sketchy folks hanging around

Adequate, but not a place I would recommend.

We were there to attend a family wedding, coming in from out of the country. Hotel prices in the region are pretty nuts, so we went with a chain, figuring it would be adequate for our purposes. It was -- barely. The room would have been basic and fine, were it not for some notable issues I will list below. The location was good, as it sits right off I-5. Internet was good. Staff were very nice and accommodating. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was actually pretty good. But, if one were willing to spend just a little more, you could get a much better deal elsewhere.

While the room was clean, the furnishing were so worn that they needed replacing. The carpet could not be cleaned into acceptability. We think that contributed to a pervasive smell in the room. The one chair in the room looked like a dog had chewed on the arm, and needs to be replaced. The shower head needs replacement, and the water was not really hot. It just needs some basic refurnishing.

This place is convenient to a lot of San Diego’s attractions, but is way overpriced for the quality.

Location was great

Average room but very clean. No towel racks in the bathroom. No soap and shampoo shelves in the shower. Shower head was terrible. Not enough bath towels. The pool was old and extremely small. Cool deck was in very poor condition. Parking was horrible - very small spaces with no room to open your door to get out once you park. The only handicap parking was at the front of the hotel. My husband uses a walker, so we had to park back by our room in very small spot that was not accommodating for handicap.

Washer was not working . Had to leave to wash. Breakfast was decent but we had to ask the girl for things that ran out. No coffe the last day I was there. Room had a odor but it was still clean.

Staff members are rude, clueless, and don't care about making things right, even when they are PROVEN wrong.

They have breakfast, but the staff is awful. Charged me $70+ than I was quoted for. Showed them proof of it, and they still tried to deny me and give me attitude about it. Still unresolved.

The property was dirty and felt unsafe that I got back in my car and left. There were men hanging around in the hallways and stairs. My room was not to nice and smelled like cigarette smoke when it was a no smoking section.

Unclean room. After a short 12 hour stay all of my clothes smell musty!

I booked this place for a quick one-night stay. Checked in at 10pm, checked out at 11am. When I checked into the room, it smelled awful. Musty, moldy, or smoky? I couldn't quite tell what it was, but I knew it wasn't good, especially for what was supposed to be a non-smoking booking. I figured it couldn't be that bad for such a short stay and that maybe running the A/C would freshen the air, so I decided to deal with it. When I woke up in the morning my lungs felt horrible and I was hacking up phlegm. Plus after I packed up my clothes to check out, I realized that after just 12 hours, every item of clothing that I had pulled out of my suitcase or worn now had an AWFUL musty smell :( ... The room and the property are disgusting, and now I need to spend extra money to clean my clothes while traveling. This place is so unhealthy, it feels like they're poisoning their guests with the quality of the air in the rooms. I would never stay here again.

There was an incident where a stranger with mental health issues was on the property and was harassing guests. He tried to spit on my son from the second floor to the pool area. We had to run back to our room to avoid further confrontation.

Bad parking- other car doors can damage your car

Compact parking with small space to reverse auto. BAD parking. Parking so compact for suv or small suvs that other guests will ding your car with their car doors. I got 2 dings during my 3 night stay that damaged my car!

It worked for what I needed during a work trip.

I liked that the room was clean, it felt safe and it was quiet for the duration of my stay. The office staff was also nice and friendly the few times I spoke with them.

I didn't like that when I arrived to check in during my check in time, the office staff was not in the office, and didn't return until 6pm. It was very inconvenient, especially after a long drive and I was ready to get into my room and lie down. I had to wait in my car until the office staff had returned and had to drive across the street to use the restroom. I was not happy. There should be someone in the office at all times, especially during the hours of check in and check out. I also had a lot of anxiety about the safety of my car in the parking lot over night. Also, the pictures online make the building look a lot nicer than it looks in person. The outside exterior could use some touching up. The rooms were nicely renovated though.
