Wonderful overnight stay…hope to be back!

It is such a beautifully renovated 1920’s court style motel. So clean! The room is spacious with a kitchenette that would be nice for a longer stay. We were only there for one night. The Keurig was very much appreciated as coffee in the room is very important to me! The bed was comfortable and made for a good nights sleep. Katherine (hope I have the name right) at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Oh yeah, almost forgot….great price and great value!

Everything was great! Not anything to do with the motel itself, but would recommend earplugs if you are a light sleeper like me as the train passes by close to the room.

A perfect place for short or long getaways!

With its old school motor court vibe enhanced by modern conveniences, Leucadia Beach Inn made me nostalgic for my childhood family vacations. Our unit was quite clean, comfy and roomy that felt more like a studio apartment versus your boring cookie cutter motel room. It will be our 1st choice for future visits to San Diego!

The location can't be beat! Also the rooms were clean and I love the cozy, quirky vibe of the hotel. It represents Leucadia perfectly.

The tile floors need to be cleaned with another cleaning solution (not Fabuloso) that doesn't leave a slippery film.

Comfortable beds and a great sleep!

Easy walk to the beach. The beds were very comfortable and we slept great. We thought the Hwy 101 noise would be loud but it was very quiet at night. Staff was great and accommodating. It was great to have parking space on the property no matter what time we made it back to the hotel. The kitchenette was a wonderful. Thank you for a great stay!!

A wonderful place to stay in the forever funky Leucadia, let's hope it stays that way!

Great on-site manager, and the room in the two-story building on the ground floor was great. We were also able to park our long quad-cab truck in the back spaces off the alley, which really made things safe and easy.

Great location to everything in Leucadia and a short uber ride to Encinitas. Cute little boutique hotel and the staff was amazing! Our flight was delayed due to an airport shut down, Mark was more than accommodating! Made us feel very comfortable and welcomed

The parking is super tight, but would not stop us from visiting again. The beds are super soft, but sleepable!

Great little hotel with nostalgic feel

The property is well kept. The rooms are cozy small but well laid out. Great for a day or two stay. Close to beaches and a few restaurants.

There is a closet but no drawers. As stated in likes, it great for a day or two stay with little clothes. They only provide 2 towels( we took one to the beach and got dirty , leaving only one for two people to shower) office closed when we returned from beach on Sunday) I'm sure you could get more if you asked but office closes early and only an emergency number( don't believe extra towels is an emergency) also late check-ins might be difficult

Fabulous and relaxing!

The hotel was perfect for our 4th of July staycation in Encinitas/Leucadia area. Quiet, very clean, comfortable and easy to get to. Dedicated parking spots, and the host was very responsive - especially during the busy weekend. Would definitely stay again!

The room was clean and well stocked with the necessities. The Inn was a blast from the past! Staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. The towels were amazing, soft, fluffy and plenty big.

The outside light in the walkway was a bit bright thru the closed shutters. Definitely provided a safe feeling tho,

Location, clean, comfortable bed, included off street parking, easy check-in, kitchenette. Pizza, coffee, organic produce, and Mexican food within one block.

CONS: The room we got was in their secondary building with no access to the "courtyard" which is actually the parking lot for the main building. As with most hotel rooms, under-furnished, only one nightstand with lamp (the only lighting aside from a ceiling light and light from the large windows), the room was huge and aside from the bed there was a large upholstered chair, a small table and 2 chairs. The room was large enough for a loveseat size sofa sleeper. The plantation shutters on the windows needed repair. FYI: This hotel is right across the street from the train tracks, so if train noises bother you, don't book here. Aside from the trains, the hotel was quiet. The room we had (#20) is not pictured on their site or the booking.com site. Don't make noise near to or after 9 pm or the manager will give you a talking to.
