Very clean and remodeled rooms, service not so great other than the lady that works there and parking spaces limited

The rooms are actually very nice, mine had a fridge, microwave, sink and an electric stove!

The guy that attended me wasn’t very nice. He looked inconvenienced when I asked them about their check out policy. Also have to pay 3$ extra when you get there and didn’t accept cash of $3 for some reason. They are also remodeling and because of that the parking is very limited, had to park my car very far from the room.

Nice place

The checkin girl was super friendly and upgraded us to one of the new rooms. So there is nothing to complain.. a coffeeshop is right at the corner (mind some waiting time, seems to be known at insta 😃) a lot of renovation going on what’s highly appreciated

Well also the street outside is under construction so it could get complicated to enter it, and the ocean is a bit farer away then in the description..

It’s like a motel 6 but like model of how a motel 6 should be, nothing fancy, we did like it had a table and two chairs to sit and eat, clean , parking was adequate

Not again

I was contacted an hour before arrival. The person at the front desk said the couple in my ADA room wanted to stay and they didn't have another room for me. I asked them to see if they could find a nearby ADA room for the night. He didn't know how he would find one. I paid for this reservation on line and I wanted my money back the desk person said I would have to contact the company I purchased the reservation from..I told him I didn't cancel the reservation the had. I I left and started my search for an open ADA room. It took a couple hours to find one. I called the next day and another counter person said a refund was working and would take a week or so.not sure what to do.

Lack of service and having my reservation canceled.

A great last two nights for our US national park tour holiday

The room looked to have been recently renovated. The AC was relatively quiet. The bed clean and comfortable. A seperate counter with Coffee making facility, Microwave, refridgerator, and even a stove top and counter sink for cups and dishes.

Very tight parking. Difficulty in finding the room from the vague description/ directions given by the night clerk/ Owner/Operator. “It’s over there, up the stairs “

Filthy shower, scary stained fiberglass tub that should have been replaced years ago! Bed was well made but the mattress should have been upgraded years ago to be a pillow top; instead of the 40 year old spring version that was literally audible with any movement, and expressive when one sits on it!

The room price is cheap for the holiday weekend. It wasn’t too far from the beach and major highway. It was accesible and had a lot of parking. Good shampoo & soap in the room.

Perfect location terrible room.

The woman at the front desk was February friendly and helpful when we couldn’t get out tv to work. And the location was excellent

The carpet in the room was terrible. When we arrived they were airing it out because of the smell themselves. It smelled like pee and it was very difficult to sleep at night because of it. The room definitely needs to be updated, it’s very old and weathered down.

Cozy and Comfortable

Located in a quiet and safe area. My room was comfortable, clean and surprisingly modern. I found it very charming and surprised at the great accommodation for such an affordable price.

No big complaints, just at one point the shower water was Luke warm and didn’t go hotter , but other showers the water became hot.

Great location for budget friendly cheap hotel

The room at the Rodeway Inn was much bigger than I would have expected for the price with mini-kitchen, decent bed and small bathroom. AC in room worked extremely well- which was nice after a hot day. Location was excellent in Leucadia with lots of lunch/dinner spots (listed as Encinitas) and very close to the beach with access to the shore a 10-minute walk away. So if you are into beach community scene- this is a good pick for budget price and location.

TV was average, though did have HBO channels. Room felt a little cheap and not very homey, though bed mattress felt new. Tried to check in early, and was quoted $20 each hour before check-in- so not worth $40 extra on top of room price.

Best Hotel Hidden Value. PLUS LITERALLY DOWN THE STREET FRON THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ACCESS TO THE OCEAN!

Check in gentleman was super nice and accommodating. Highly recommend this establishment. Loved the garden of beautiful flowers in smoke area.

No chairs on smoke area yet when I asked to use/move chairs from common outdoor area to sit at smoke area they allowed which MADE MY STAY. I LOVED THAT!! THANK YOU 🫶💓

Nothing, everything was disgustingly awful, smelling people was high loud juts the person at front desk was the good thing.

The bed was smelling like dirty, the room was full cover or smelling of weed , carpet was dirty, bath too, people outside was loud and smoking , no one came to silence them up.

It was decent for the price.

I just needed a room to sleep in and a place to keep my stuff for a few days while I was busy in town. It was fine for that. I feel that it was reasonable for what I paid. The staff was nice and welcoming. Critiques: I think the tub could've been cleaner and I couldn't close the bathroom window.

This was a nice place for one night stay. The pictures make it look lots nicer. But I must say that it was clean, quiet, close to walkable restaurants and as I heard, 15 minute walk to the beach. It was simply a nice quiet place with some amenities (near restaurants). Nothing fancy, but certainly adequate.

Staff was professional (meaning they did their job - checked us in), but not friendly at all. I don't think he even smiled. The rating may have changed a bit if there was some welcoming or friendliness.
