Excellent location! Love the complimentary wine hour, and the staff were so nice. They gave us a room upgrade, which we were surprised and really pleased by. The beds and pillows are surprisingly comfortable, and the thermostats are easy to adjust. We also enjoyed the complimentary coffee

The interior remodel is amazing and the central Times Square location is perfect for theater goers.

Good location in Times Square within easy walk to Central Park, theaters, shopping etc.
There are loose metal plates in the street (54th Street) right outside the front door of the hotel and every time a car passes over it there is a loud noise. Crowd and traffic noise is to be expected in Times Square even at night but in the 5th floor room I stayed in, I couldn't hear any of that normal noise. Instead I was kept up all night by the non-stop banging of those metal plates. Until those plates are repaired nobody should be placed in rooms that are low enough to hear that, and 5th floor is not high enough to avoid it.
