The Michelangelo New York

Our stay at The Michelangelo Hotel was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. Even before we arrived, everything was handled with exceptional professionalism. Gloria, the Director of Sales, went above and beyond to assist us with every detail of our reservation, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. Once we arrived, the whole team continued to exceed our expectations with their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality. The rooms are, without a doubt, among the most comfortable I have ever stayed in and certainly some of the most spacious and comfortable in NYC. After long days exploring the city, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of so many of New York's iconic attractions, yet the hotel offers a peaceful and elegant atmosphere that makes you forget you're in the middle of Manhattan. Great location, incredibly comfortable rooms, outstanding service - what more could you ask for in the Big Apple? I have stayed in many hotels around the world, and The Michelangelo truly stands out for its people and its commitment to making every guest feel welcome. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation to anyone visiting New York, and I look forward to staying here again.

The location and the old world charm from the furnishings to the staff of doormen and bellhops. The mattress was excellent and the towels were fluffy.

The price was a bit high. Complimentary coffee would be nice.

Most of staffs are friendly and nice. Old French / European style interior. Facility is old, but well maintained. Location is the best. Service is great.

Shower drainage issue ! Water didn’t drain quickly enough during the showers. A little disgusting as you have to shower in a bathtub. Old facilities and furnitures - tho I think this is quite standard for Manhattan. No matter where you go, I assume it will be the similar quality as the city is overpopulated and old.

We have stayed here multiple times over the years and love the location, private and close to Time Square. It has special memories for us over the years.

This trip compared to past the staff seemed very unhappy. When leaving the doorman didn't even help load luggage into the Uber (was Dec 31st morning so very busy but still). Just not as friendly as past experiences.
