Hilton Garden Inn New York Central Park South-Midtown West

Excellent location, very close to Central Park, Times Square, restaurants, and many attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall it was a great choice for my stay in New York.

What I liked most was the location. It's outstanding—just a short walk to both Times Square and Central Park, making it incredibly convenient to explore New York on foot. The neighborhood felt safe, and there were plenty of restaurants, cafés, and subway stations nearby. It was the perfect base for my stay.

The hotel is quite expensive for what it offers. The breakfast could be improved with more variety and better quality. Also, the elevators are insufficient for the number of guests, resulting in long waiting times, especially during peak hours.

The bed was comfortable; however, that is the bare minimum expectation. Given the overall experience, I would not recommend this property.

The elevator situation at this hotel was a massive disaster. It takes an incredibly long time to get anywhere; staying on the 26th floor, I frequently encountered elevators already packed with guests going up, leaving me waiting ages just to go down. To make matters worse, my room had no shampoo, and when I contacted the front desk, it took them forever to respond—only to be told I was 15th on the list for a simple service request. The staff made me feel like an inconvenience just for asking for basic hotel amenities (they might understaffed). Additionally, the towels are in dire need of replacement, as they are worn and felt like sandpaper. Overall, this property felt more like a low-end high-rise motel than a hotel. I highly advise to not stay here.
