It was mostly a good stay for the price, but rooms above the check-in area of the lobby are too loud
We liked the location a lot and it was nice to have food options, especially the coffee shop with grab and go options within the hotel. Tried the buffet breakfast and it was pretty good.
My sons' room was directly above the check-in area of the lobby. Their room was very noisy with the live and canned music playing 24 hour per day. Also, one night, there was karaoke which they found to be especially irritating. The Landshark restaurant was disappointing. It felt like it was more about children than dining. It all seemed to be made of washable plastic and the food was also disappointing.

Would always stay here when the price is right!
Always love this place. Great and Amazing location!! Love that the rooms have a separate room from a living room. Great t has its own door for more convenience. I would always recommend this place.
Pending the room you get, the noise from the breakfast being served in the middle of the hotel can get a little noisy.

Would stay again, but would out source a lot of my stay.. lesson learn.
Location and pool area for my kids.
I requested and booked a Mountain View but ended up in below the tree line.. I asked the front desk and she stated that’s the room that they have.
Breakfast was a little depressing. No flavor. Typical breakfast. Could have gone outside and paid way less than the hotel. Only reason I stayed eating, was due to the servers. They tried to make it better.

Had a wonderful day can’t wait to do it in the future maybe even next year
Comfortable and elegant I like how the structures were made easy parking though, but didn’t like valet
The valet parking part, sucks you can’t do self parking

Much better value than the Casino hotels
I had stayed there years ago when it was the Embassy Suites. They did a really nice job with the renovation. We were in the area to attend an event at the Golden Nugget about a 5 minute walk away and was really glad we opted to stay at Margaritaville instead of the Golden Nugget which is going through a renovation of it own. Much bigger rooms and a nicer vibe. The live music in the lobby bar was a nice touch.
I'm not a fan of valet parking and we chose to park elsewhere for about half the daily price. I wasn't impressed with the margarita mix used in the top shelf priced margarita. The margaritas are better over at Azul, but overall the accommodations were a really good value.

An excellent place to stay in Lake Tahoe!
Excellent location. The pool and hot tub area is indoors so it is available year round. The fire pits in the sitting areas were awesome on chilly nights. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated.

We did enjoy our stay.
The beds were comfortable, pillows were great! Staff was professional. Valet staff was fast and very nice.
Resort fees, valet parking only. Limited lobby. (Used to be an Embassy Suites with large lobby available for guests to use. ). Needs new carpeting in the lobby.

Kind of gave the vibe it was a struggling hotel.
Atmosphere was refreshing, decor was fantastic. Nice change from the casinos.
There were hair clumps in the corners of the shower floor, presumably from the last guest. Hand soap and lotion bottles at the bathroom vanity were empty. We were really looking forward to drinks at the bar but they were out of some items, half the beer taps weren't working. Bartender worked his butt off and did his best with the constant obstacles being thrown at him due to lack of items to either make the drinks or fill the beer glasses. Landshark was the number one thing we were looking forward to on tap being from the east coast and it wasn't available which was a huge disappointment.

Location
Our experience at this hotel was disappointing in several ways. The room was not very clean—there were crumbs left on the couch, and both the body wash and body lotion bottles were empty upon arrival. I called the front desk to request replacements, but after waiting 20 minutes no one came. We needed them right away to shower and get ready for dinner and a concert. When we returned later, a body wash bottle had been left on the TV stand by the entrance instead of being placed in the shower, and the body lotion was never provided.
The room itself lacked a full-length mirror, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the bathrooms near the lobby were not clean, and the hotel does not offer self-parking. Valet parking is the only option, at $40 per day, which feels excessive.

It was a good location
The location was great walking distance to many shops and restaurants
I had a very hard time getting a hold of anyone to resolve an issue about parking they had originally had stated my vehicle would not fit over 6 ft tall turns out it did they have to have better communication and details at booking the stay

Location
The pool wasn't clean.. the chlorine smell was so strong that I couldn't stay there, and didn't want my kids to smell or swim in the pool because the water wasn't clean. It was foggy. I didn't get the room i payed for.. paid extra for mountain view and got a different room. The windows had big spider webs on them. They could do better to make the hotel look nicer and cleaner.

Not worth it. Find alternatives.
Location was convenient and the rooms were clean.
1) Unfortunately, we had high hopes for the pool and to say it was disappointing is an understatement. The water smelled like soiled diapers, it literally had an awful yellowish tone to it. Since they promoted it as a draw, you'd think they'd prioritize its cleanliness. 2) The staff were there functionally -- but with no service spirit or enthusiasm. Hard to sell paradise when the team looks and acts miserable. 3) Dont be fooled by the photo showing access to the lake. While it's close, they do not have nor facilitate any oceanfront access,

Lovely
We loved having the car to take us to the wedding at Edgewood.
We were told the shuttle would be available until 11:00 and to just call, but it stopped at 10:00. A bit frustrating.

Great location with less than ideal amenities
staff were great, responsive, quick and friendly. food was OK (cost money). the location is great!
There are no blackout curtains in the living room/kitchenette which makes it hard to sleep on the pullout couch. Never seen a room with sleeping accommodations that did not have blackout curtains. The pool was abysmally dirty and crowded and not heated. the hot tub jets were not working and it was full of clumps of hair.

Disappointed
Close to many different restaurants, activities, and other casinos. Walking and biking paths.
The rooms that have door attachments to other rooms. The walls are pretty paper thin, you can hear your neighbors coming and going at all hours of the night. Only have an indoor pool. Summertime is for outside pool time. The room was booked for mountain views. When we opened the curtains we saw the side view of the hotel windows that are across the street. Very few views of the mountains that were behind the resort.

Nice hotel, good location, great for families with kids.
Room was excellent, especially the comfortable queen bed. In general, the hotel and location were superb. Food options were pretty good--the mahi sandwich in the Landshark was really tasty.
Service in the Landshark Bar & Grill wasn't great. It took 20 minutes after seating before wait staff asked if we had been waited on (we hadn't). We finally got our food after about 45 minutes. Also, we asked about overnight parking for an over-sized vehicle and they told us it would cost $150! Needless to say, we parked elsewhere.

Excellent location.
The location of the facility was excellent for walking to near by shops and restaurants. The hotel was clean and most of the staff were very friendly. The valet was quick as were the bell staff. Any call for extra towels were also quick.
The reason for the poor rating was singularly with the hotel supervisor. We were traveling with pets and messaged the hotel ahead of our stay. We mentioned that they were ESAs and to let us know if anything was needed. The supervisor came to our room at 11PM (we are traveling with a 7 month old baby who is now up) to accuse us of not telling the hotel we were traveling with pets. Her whole attitude was that we had done something wrong and were trying to "get on over" on the staff. Not what you want on your vacation.
The pool is indoor and heated but during our stay the pool was ice cold. All of the guests, included kids, were trying to huddle into the small hot tub. This hotel charges a lot and I expected more.

We I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, comfortable, welcoming and relaxing.
We enjoyed everything about the property! The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Movie night was awesome, the S'MORES by the fire were a nice touch, and the steakhouse, wow! we had some truly delicious food. A great experience all around!
Disappointed with Room Assignment Despite Availability
At check-in, I specifically requested a front-facing room and—more importantly—a room near the elevator, as my wife had a minor ankle injury. To our surprise, we were assigned Room #814, which was not only on the top floor but also the farthest possible room from the elevator. To add to the frustration, the view was of Harrah's parking lot—certainly not what we had hoped for.
What made it more disappointing was finding out afterward that there were plenty of rooms available. This experience left a bad first impression and made the start of our stay far less comfortable than it should have been.

I only like the location but overall you are only paying for the location and not service or the whole amenities
The location was very convenient
Checking in wa sa lot of traffic for valet. When I get there to check in the customer service was just okay. Front desk didn’t ask if we needed help with the luggages and didnt provide a lot of information to assist customers. It was hard to get a hold of someone to get my car checked in. I was standing by the valet kiosk for a while until someone took my key and acknowledged I needed help. They only took care of it until they notice that they have to move the car for more space. Resort amenities say the pool was supposed to be heated but when we were there it wasn’t at all and pool was not clean. Service at the restaurant was bad too. Overall the place was not as clean as i thought it should be and it was hard to use since it was packed and the spa area were just a lot of kids and some kids where unattended. Went to the landshark and grill for dinner so we don’t have to go anywhere else after a long drive to the hotel and we ended up leaving cause the waiter did not come back with the kids menu we asked for the last 35 minutes.

Terrible stay, poor execution on most fronts, terrible parking
The location and combortable rooms. Paid breakfast buffet staff was also good.
This hotel is awful. Most frustrating aspect of the stay was the parking. They only have 13 parking spots available for self-parking for the several hundreds of rooms at the hotel.
Everyone else is obligated to exclusively use their valet system ($40 a day), which is truly awful with huge lines. They will say the long lines are because of busy season, but I was also there for week days and they are still slow and will also make mistakes and have you waiting forever. It can take over an hour to access your car really impacting enjoyability. This hotel has the spots and should allow guests to self-park, but greedy business practices won here.
This hotel also charges a resort fee, but no resort amenities provided. The heated pool is frigid, very minimal heating happening here. Only the kids were able to tolerate it, all adults who also wanted to enjoy the pool seemed frustrated. The hot tub is small and spa funtionality was broken for some of stay.
Movie night by pool sounds fun, but it started late everyday (advertised as 7pm), at irregular times, and their sound system failed; one could barely hear the movie. On one day, movie froze and no one was available to fix it.
SMS that was supposed to be used as a method of communication was never responded to.
In sum, poor execution all around at this hotel. Terrible. Will not return.
