Too many kids in the pool at all time. You should have an adult time period set aside.

Clean
Gym is so wet and the boat riding is broken. Not sure if kids or underages are allowed to use the equipment w/o adult’s supervision.

Leaving
We paid for a room with a view, got a room without a view-then they moved us to another room with a partial view after I asked to be moved.Partial meaning mostly parking lot. Asked for extra blankets-was never sent. Went to the breakfast buffet- staff cleared our table when we went for seconds, my wife came back to the table and one of the staff asked if she paid multiple times, while I was going for seconds one of the staff members gave me cutlery without explanation(accidentally clearing our table).

The breakfast was great, I liked being right down town south lake tahoe, its nice to have restaurants in the hotel because everywhere is packed for dinner. The rooms were spacious and clean.
The TV's in the room were not smart TV's. The shampoo conditioner and soap were terrible. The steak and seafood restaurant was sooooo exspensive for not even that great or fine dining.

Great atmosphere, inside felt like being in Hawaii. The live music was pleasant, good, not to loud. Bundled up at night and had s'more out front. Kids loved the pool. Location was perfect. Walked to pizza and ice-cream.
The breakfast buffet, I felt like it was expensive for what it was. I dont like the soap, shampoo and conditioner dispenser in the shower. Most places are doing it now, I just don't like them.

Everything except the below dislikes
Efficiency in store during morning hours was horrible. I was awake prior to my family and wasn't aloud to step in breakfast area to get coffee......offered to pay but was told if I pay for buffet I cant leave and come back...understandable but a cup of coffee????
Instead I waited almost an hr to get one at the store next to the restaurant, this was all 4 mornings of our stay.

The staff, the food, cleanliness of room, broken remotes, dirty bathroom and linens, cooling and heating system . Room was freezing! And on top of it all, valet lost my car keys and couldn’t locate them for over an hour.

Location
Staff was not friendly. Rooms and service was okay not upto the 4-star hotel status or even the price. The coffee machine was dirty. There was no drinking water. No exhaust fan in toilet. Shower was not working properly

Very comfortable room, warm pool and the $25 per day voucher for restaurants is good value
The spa was closed during our stay unfortunately- other than that everything is good

Convenient location for Heavenly Village and the event center. Staff was nice enough to switch us to a different room.
First room was dirty. Hair on multiple services. Crumbs and sticky stuff all over the table. Floors were dirty. Furniture was badly stained. Second room still had hair in the beds but felt a little cleaner. We went to the front desk and asked for a luggage cart. They said we couldn’t use it, but would send someone up to our room. 30 minutes later no one showed up. We hauled our stuff down to the lobby to see the empty luggage cart still sitting there.

We liked the location a lot and it was nice to have food options, especially the coffee shop with grab and go options within the hotel. Tried the buffet breakfast and it was pretty good.
My sons' room was directly above the check-in area of the lobby. Their room was very noisy with the live and canned music playing 24 hour per day. Also, one night, there was karaoke which they found to be especially irritating. The Landshark restaurant was disappointing. It felt like it was more about children than dining. It all seemed to be made of washable plastic and the food was also disappointing.

Always love this place. Great and Amazing location!! Love that the rooms have a separate room from a living room. Great t has its own door for more convenience. I would always recommend this place.
Pending the room you get, the noise from the breakfast being served in the middle of the hotel can get a little noisy.

love the way the rooms were set up. didn't hear any outside noise. very family and pet friendly. loved the area where you could sit by the fire

Location and pool area for my kids.
I requested and booked a Mountain View but ended up in below the tree line.. I asked the front desk and she stated that’s the room that they have.
Breakfast was a little depressing. No flavor. Typical breakfast. Could have gone outside and paid way less than the hotel. Only reason I stayed eating, was due to the servers. They tried to make it better.

I had stayed there years ago when it was the Embassy Suites. They did a really nice job with the renovation. We were in the area to attend an event at the Golden Nugget about a 5 minute walk away and was really glad we opted to stay at Margaritaville instead of the Golden Nugget which is going through a renovation of it own. Much bigger rooms and a nicer vibe. The live music in the lobby bar was a nice touch.
I'm not a fan of valet parking and we chose to park elsewhere for about half the daily price. I wasn't impressed with the margarita mix used in the top shelf priced margarita. The margaritas are better over at Azul, but overall the accommodations were a really good value.

Excellent location. The pool and hot tub area is indoors so it is available year round. The fire pits in the sitting areas were awesome on chilly nights. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated.

The beds were comfortable, pillows were great! Staff was professional. Valet staff was fast and very nice.
Resort fees, valet parking only. Limited lobby. (Used to be an Embassy Suites with large lobby available for guests to use. ). Needs new carpeting in the lobby.

Atmosphere was refreshing, decor was fantastic. Nice change from the casinos.
There were hair clumps in the corners of the shower floor, presumably from the last guest. Hand soap and lotion bottles at the bathroom vanity were empty. We were really looking forward to drinks at the bar but they were out of some items, half the beer taps weren't working. Bartender worked his butt off and did his best with the constant obstacles being thrown at him due to lack of items to either make the drinks or fill the beer glasses. Landshark was the number one thing we were looking forward to on tap being from the east coast and it wasn't available which was a huge disappointment.

Location
Our experience at this hotel was disappointing in several ways. The room was not very clean—there were crumbs left on the couch, and both the body wash and body lotion bottles were empty upon arrival. I called the front desk to request replacements, but after waiting 20 minutes no one came. We needed them right away to shower and get ready for dinner and a concert. When we returned later, a body wash bottle had been left on the TV stand by the entrance instead of being placed in the shower, and the body lotion was never provided.
The room itself lacked a full-length mirror, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the bathrooms near the lobby were not clean, and the hotel does not offer self-parking. Valet parking is the only option, at $40 per day, which feels excessive.

The location was great walking distance to many shops and restaurants
I had a very hard time getting a hold of anyone to resolve an issue about parking they had originally had stated my vehicle would not fit over 6 ft tall turns out it did they have to have better communication and details at booking the stay

We loved having the car to take us to the wedding at Edgewood.
We were told the shuttle would be available until 11:00 and to just call, but it stopped at 10:00. A bit frustrating.

Location
The pool wasn't clean.. the chlorine smell was so strong that I couldn't stay there, and didn't want my kids to smell or swim in the pool because the water wasn't clean. It was foggy. I didn't get the room i payed for.. paid extra for mountain view and got a different room. The windows had big spider webs on them. They could do better to make the hotel look nicer and cleaner.
