Decent, but has seen better days...

Convenience/geography to where we needed to work, location near restaurants and other stores. Bar seemed nice, even though we didn't use it. A reasonable price for two nights, especially since it was an urgent booking.

Floor in our room was sticky, as if it'd been cleaned with water that wasn't fresh/clean; Automatic doors to main lobby from outside had a lot of trouble opening and closing - I had to force one open manually just to walk into the hotel; the tile at the sink had clear, obvious pencil and red marker marks on it from where the installer scribed it, but didn't bother to clean it off once finished; the a/c vent on the wall looked as if it'd been pulled off at one point; strange smells in hallway leading to elevator on first floor; staff had difficulty adding our Hilton membership # upon check-in; still not sure they ever got it; TV remote in the room was missing the battery door - batteries kept falling out; none of this was a deal breaker, but it did add to an overall feeling of neglect to the property. I've stayed there twice before in years past and it just seemed much nicer then.

I was offended that a young lady who was not even the management was able to trespass me .

I went in to check in my room with my reservation and the young lady approached me and immediately told me to leave .I was not given the option to give her my reservation number or anything. I'm just disappointed because it seems like a lot of the hotels in Montgomery County are choosing to do this now under new ownership somehow they're being all transferred to an LLC of different names. -Nicole Wright

Okay, not what I expected for 5 star

Good breakfast. Quiet Nice staff

-Fold out bed was torn and didn't unfold all the way. -Reserved online, priced at $87.00, charged $127.00 and was only there 5 hours - No towels to take a shower, called front desk but never got towels.

At 5 PM i get a phone call from Doublyree Hilton saying all the rooms are full and I need to find someplace else to stay for the night had to query around for another hotel for the night

My room wasn’t ready when I got there at 8 PM, I to wait for it to be done. There was a dead pigeon on my balcony and no one came to get it up after I reported it twice

Got there late room wasn’t cleaned water bottles on table. Got moved to another room pullout couch frame was bent and armrests were worn plus no bedding went to desk second time just to return with wet bedding packed in a plastic bag girlfriend made third trip to get dry bedding but that to was damp but we made due cause it was getting late. Patio was dirty actually bought a broom and swept it off it was that bad . Couldn’t sleep after two AM people were in pool yelling nobody came out that lasted about an hour and half they were also taking the chairs off the patio to the room I rented and scared my 82 year old mother plus ants were on our bags when we were packing up . Honestly looked like the staff consisted of five or six people same girl at desk when I checked in and noon the next day I asked how long her shift was she just smiled .We also couldn’t get extra towels when we asked we had three people two hand towels two big towels and two wash clothes hate to be so negative but I call it like I see it .

The room was a good size

The hotel was old, dirty, and not maintained. This hotel needs a renovation badly. The toilet in our room was not attached to the floor so when you sat down it moved. The walls are paper thin and you can hear the next room’s tv. The halls were dark and smelled of mold and mildew. There was a weed smell coming from the first floor back door that moved throughout the hall ways. The breakfast was over priced and gross looking, would never pay for what was offered. Breakfast should be included at the prices being asked. Everything was out of order (ice machines, coffee machines, etc.). Hotel was not easy to find and was not well lit. The staff was not very friendly especially at the front desk. The room numbers made no sense and were not in numerical order. Very disappointed for a Hilton property.

The room wasn’t ready, staff didn’t explain anything. Card was “declined” called bank they didn’t even run my card then all of a sudden it took it. You pay for breakfast that is all microwaveable things and not good quality.

Great comfort at a reasonable price!

We always stay at the Doubletree went in Miamisburg. It’s a beautiful hotel and the price is always right. The staff is courteous and kind. It’s our favorite.

The only real complaint I guess I would have is that the sofa in the suites are not very comfortable and most of them are broken. But we don’t really sit on them very much so it doesn’t really matter.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the setting was well done better than most hotels in that price range.

Property was under renovations for the winter which is weird because the room I was in had no lights in the bathroom area and no mirror. The front desk was no help however when the renovations are complete it will be a nice hotel.

The place was under construction the pool was NOT the same one in the picture on the website breakfast was horrible and NOT much selection like it showed on website property itself was dirty no outside seating area sofa bed was broken and wore out and had to ask for bedding for sofa bed when they knew there was three of us not enough towels for three people and no hooks Their website VERY deceiving and that was NOT as far as we are concerned a Hilton hotel DO NOT stay here a motel 6 would have been a real Hilton compared to this

Nothing at all

Filthy, in disrepair, operating a “gentleman’s club” inside- DO NOT STAY HERE. There is something very off with the management. I did not feel safe and could but bring myself to stay with my teenager- here for sports travel. It’s no wonder this was the only place around with vacancies.

This was probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Nothing too fancy but I really enjoy the stay. The room was a suite and was larger than I had expected.

It’s only a minor flaw but it didn’t seem that the shower/tub was cleaned before my stay, and the tub faucet was leaky. Not a huge deal to me.

Beyond disappointment

Location

The side door was held open by a piece of concrete so anyone could walk right in. 1st floor door into hall was in bad shape. Halls and stairs were dirty. Not sure who cleans the rooms, but they need to be fired. Few rooms have balconies, saw people on them smoking, and also saw an employee smoking while "cleaning" the pool. I would have rather slept in my car. Shower leaked/dripped all day and night. building and room/furniture were old and in need of updating and a deep clean. Very very disappointed, and I couldn't believe this had a Hilton name attached to it. Paris wouldn't have even let her dog stay here. Staff seemed friendly. Overall, I would give this hotel a one start review.

Had to switch rooms because pull out couch for kids was broken. Beds were not comfy. Breakfast was over priced and all 4 of us thought it was not very good at all. Stale... either over cooked or sat in warmers too long.

Very comfortable and peaceful stay and the hotel was close to shopping and great restaurants.

Location was great, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the floor I stayed on was quiet and check-in/checkout was quick and easy. The people managing the front desk were friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was reasonably priced ($12) and there was something for everyone plus free coffee and bottled water were available in the lobby 24/7. The best part of my stay was Sarah, her customer service was exceptional, she was kind and very accommodating. Sarah checked me in after I had been awake for 36hrs trying to make it to my dad before he passed. She was especially helpful when I requested a late checkout because my dad’s funeral wouldn’t end until well past the 11a checkout time, I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. Thank you for a very comfortable and peaceful stay! Not only would I stay here again but I would definitely recommend 10/10.
