I’ve been staying at Doubletree Miamisburg since 2016 at certain points each year..and SADLY, the condition and comfort of stay has gone down from the original excellence to despicable over past two years. Not staying there again, sadly.

Staff was ok. Very deserted hotel not many customers or staff present. Outside landscape was not kept up over grown weeds and grass. Rooms were clean very limited tv channels. Back door was left open instead of card to unlock . Smell of marjuana noted around back of building and stairwells.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed here in the past 5 years. This time the property appeared run down. Weeds in the flower beds, spattered paint on windows. in the room, the couch was worn and cushion sank into the framed of couch and the toilet constantly ran until I shook the handle.

Property dirty and bed linens were wrinkled and I was concerned that they had been previously used. Automatic entrance door stuck and didn’t open smoothly. Hallway carpet was dirty and tv remote was dirty. Overall dirty experience and will not stay here again. Certainly a surprise and not up to the Hilton standards that I expected.

Had a good 2 night stay while visiting family. This is what I expected for a 3 star hotel in this area at this price point. I felt very safe. It was very quiet. Friendly staff. WiFi and TV worked the whole time. Room had microwave and frig which held all my stuff and heated up my leftovers. AC worked. Bathroom looked recently updated. Room was clean although sofa and desk and coffee table had signs of age/damage from use. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of lamps/lights. Could walk to restaurants but nothing was super close. Mall is across the street.

Not sure what the overall problem with this hotel was. I expect high quality from a DoubleTree and it was not available with this hotel. The high point was the food in the Bistro - outstanding to the point that we ate there twice. I suspect the hotel was under new management and possibly after some renovations. It seemed that many of the staff were training. They also seemed to be short staff, especially for cleaning rooms. Our room was missing some items and the couch bed was extended when we checked in. I am a CPAP user and the bed lamp sockets did not provide enough voltage to power my CPAP. A staff member had to come to the room, pull the mattress back, and then reach under the headboard to plug my CPAP. Ice Machines only on 2nd and 3rd floor and 2nd floor was inoperable. We were on 1st floor. Possibly the worst mattress we have slept on in years. Landscaping was almost non-existent. I would not recommend this hotel.

Way overpriced for that place, front door won’t open to the lobby, none of security doors close/lock at night, stained bedding, handles gone from dressers, paid for bfast thru a app, they give me a bill at bfast for $30, on there ads on app says free bfast and the bfast sucked. On the app you can “message the property” as long as u don’t expect a reply, And when u checkout the desk clerk will email your receipt, still waiting.

We arrived for a four day stay in a king suite. There were no linens for the pull out sofa and only 2 pillows on the bed. We spoke to the front desk employee who explained there were none left but he would see what he could do. He managed to find us sheets and a blanket that was damp and unusable. There were no more pillows but he told us to come back and ask again the next day. We asked and the two employees we spoke too said they would find them and bring them to our room. When we returned that evening we still did not have any pillows in addition our trash had not been emptied or towels replaced. There was no sign stating that they should be saved or how often housekeeping came. We went back to the desk to ask for towels and the pillows. We were again told there was none, we said ok and said we would just go buy some at Walmart and then he said he would find us some. He did manage to find two more. The next day again the trash wasn’t emptied or towels replaced, we asked the front desk and they told us we wouldn’t receive housekeeping until day 4 and that it was doubletree’s policy unless we requested it. So we did. They did come the next day but only emptied one of the trash cans and still only left 2 towels. It was clear that they were in the middle of a remodel of some of the rooms. There were pieces of painters tape left in our room and the hot and cold water were backwards in the shower.

Not sure I would rate this a 4 star hotel. The bed was nice and overall it was clean. However, the outlets on the lamps by the bed did not work (no resistance when I put a plug in it) and no outlets on that side of the room. Toilet was leaking all night and when I asked for it to be addressed, it was still leaking on the last night. The pullout couch was not comfortable at all and with is raining the whole time we were there, there was a drip coming from outside my window the whole time. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially the bar/restaurant. All in all an okay place but not worth the money.

On the positive, I slept comfortably. Other than that, the shower took a while to warm up to luke warm. This hotel charges extra for breakfast and even though I paid in advance, they didn't have it on file. Coffee bar wasn't maintained either. To top it off, the automatic opening door got stuck as I dropped off my key to leave. For the price, I'd recommend another hotel. The one across the street is MUCH nicer.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. The parking lot had debris that we had look out for to avoid punctured tires. They did disclose that they are under renovation.The initial perception of our room was ok however there were some issues: 1.) The base of the toilet it was hard to determine whether the stain or fecal matter. I did inform staff of this and they stated that they attempted to clean this but was unable to remove. 2.) Which turned out to be the biggest inconvenience/discomfort was the bed because of the lack of support. The mattress literally bows inward causing it to feel similar to a bean bag chair/hammock. Not sure if the issue was the coils in the mattress or the box spring/frames. 3.) We brought our own personal pillows and when we returned to our room they were gone after housekeeping straightened the room.

My room was so much better than I was expecting! I did have trouble with the cold water, it was a trickle in the bathroom sink and my showers were pretty scalding. I did mention it to the front desk but it did not get fixed during my 4 night stay. I did find a dirty sock and a washcloth under my bed in the first night along with some trash that was still there when I left. Otherwise I found my room to be fantastic. Star was friendly and helpful.

I don’t want to see things wiped/smeared on walls and hair of various types around the rooms. And hideaway beds mattresses in couches should not be curved permanently into an upward arc, stained and without bedsheets. It shouldn’t take two trips to the desk to get two sheets either. Hilton should be ashamed to have their name in this hotel.

Had to change rooms twice. First room was dirty, food crumbs on the sofa, unclean bathroom. They moved us to another room. Sink clogged up as soon as we used it. Went to front desk and they gave me a plunger to fix it as they had no one to help. The plunger did not work and we were moved to another room. It was ok after that. The front desk person in the morning was rude and didn’t care about the problems the day before. Will never stay there again.

The Lobby looks very grand, but once you got past the lobby you see nothing has been cleaned. The carpets were covered in drywall as if someone had just worked, but it was obvious it just hadn’t been cleaned up for some time. Once we got to our room it was even worse. We asked them to please clean while we were away all day, they made our beds and that was it. There was dog hair in the sheets, on the counters. The floors were totally dirty hadn’t been mopped or swept. The kitchen had food on the stove. Then we discovered there was no door for the Primary suite. We then also realized that there were not 2 bathrooms and advertised, but a bathroom in the primary and a half bath in the other room. Then we noticed there was not window in the other room which I’m pretty sure is a fire code violation. It seemed as if they were remodeling but doing a horrible job. The vanity was broken to the point that it caught your leg if you stood too close, like a giant splinter. It is severely understaffed, we had to go to the lobby to get all our towels and anything else. They didn’t have complimentary anything, my daughter lost her tooth brush and they didn’t have any. For a Hilton this was all surprising. It seems like they have run out of money and opening before it’s actually ready. The beds were terrible. The pullout bed fell through when you laid on it, we had to prop it up with the cushions from the couch portion. The shower had a straight shot to the living room, because no door.
