The room we were assigned had a strong smell of smoke, so we were changed to another room.
However, the murphy bed had loose nails, and two boards had separated. We reported this to the hotel. Since it didn't affect our sleep, we didn't ask them to fix it immediately. Nobody wants a bunch of problems right after checking in.
The hotel makes guests sign agreements for compensation for smoking in the room and for damage to property. They didn't even do their duty to properly inspect the room before letting guests check in.

We had a great stay! Very clean, comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff. But beware the property description - this is not in Upper Town with cobblestone streets, and our balcony definitely did not overlook the river - that’s about a mile away., and we overlooked a construction site and mall. Lots of construction in the area. We took the bus into Old Quebec, bus stop is a short walk from hotel. 20-30 minute bus ride or drive into OQ. Parking garage is very tight! Our Highlander with roof rack cleared it by 2”. We enjoyed ShoGun sushi and the cafe nearby, Fleur Pastel. Overall an excellent stay and value.

My stay was okay, but the noisy AC kept disturbing my sleep throughout the night. The bed was also not very comfortable, making it hard to get a good rest. On top of that, I had to wait a long time for parking, which was frustrating. I hope the hotel can improve these issues for future guests.
