Staff was always helpful when I had a question. I liked the mini-kitchen with fridge, microwave and sink with a good sized counter. Location was fantastic right next to the Thrifty Foods grocery store and Pharmasave pharmacy.

My tub was incredibly slow to drain on a Sunday but did eventually drain (took more than an hour). Staff did plunge it but that didn't make a difference. I declined having someone snake it because by that time (the next day) the water had drained. The supplies in the kitchen weren't complete. Much of the cutlery was missing but because I came from my house, right in town, I just brought my own. These were minor concerns. I was very comfortable and happy at the hotel.

The proximity to the airport was good, the cleanliness of the room was very good

Despite having a sign in reception about being an airport hotel and to keep the noise to a minimum between 9pm and 6am there was SO much noise from all the guests arriving and departing in the foyer through the night and laughing and joking with the staff on the desk I was continually woken/kept awake. I was in the room closest to reception, but even so, not adhering to a policy that's being presented by the hotel was ridiculous. On top of that, being a wooden-built hotel the floors and staircases were creaking and noisy just from people walking around, though there were also a lot of small children also running around in the mornings.

Liked the options re late check out/early check in . Great location .

There wasn't a readily accessible electrical socket between the beds to plug in my c-pap machine so I had to move the bed and the wall socket I accessed was old and the male socket from my machine kept falling out . I always leave a tip for housekeeping but I you got carried away with the wide variety of services that should be included in the motel price and not be expecting a tip .

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. You get a discount at the pub next door when you book here which is nice. The shuttle to the airport was on time and a very friendly driver- even at 5 am. I would certainly stay here again.

Chose this hotel as it has a Pool. Pool is closed unbeknownst to me. Hotel is very very old. Room and beds are smaller than I expected. Photos are deceiving.

The room was large, very clean and well equipped. Efficient and very quiet A/C / heater. The hot breakfast is a nice bonus. Friendly, very competent staff. For me the location was perfect.

Perfect for overnight visit to Victoria Island!

I like that it was so close to the ferry. Only 10 mins drive. It is close to the airport but I didn’t hear the planes. The breakfast was also good!

The only thing is the room we got had a smell. It smelled like wet carpet that didn’t dry properly or smelled like feet or something. I would say it was clean. Just the smell. So we ended up opening the door at the back.

Room is quite run down. Toilet seat broken and kept coming undone, hot plates in kitchen didn’t work, dishes mismatched, frying pan handle so loose that it was dangerous to use, room smells of urine and mold, towels were hard and scratchy. Windows are covered in bird droppings. Overall the facility looks worn out and dated, but they charge premium rates.

The breakfast was a standout for the visit. Nearly all of the breakfast items were good value and the pastries offered were also surprisingly high quality. The staff at this hotel were all all amazing.

The hotel is obviously older. The rooms are in fine condition though. There have been renovations over the years but the rooms are what are pictured.

Close to the ferry back to the mainland. Comfortable room with 2 double beds

The shower was over the bath which I find difficult to manage. The main problem we had was that all the cutlery and plates were wooden and paper. Not a glass in sight to have a drink. Breakfast was on paper plates with wooden cutlery which kept on breaking and coffee in paper cup which is not the best

Fit for Family of 6

Room could fit the 6 of us, bikes to use, hot breakfast, close to bakery and ocean.

We asked to have 6 sets of towels in the special request section, asked housekeeping and didn't get them. We spoke to the front desk to get more and then had to ask again the next morning. That was a bit frustrating.

The toilet was not functioning properly, we had to lift the back lid and tap the plug to ensure it filled with water after each flush. Shower faucet was loose and leaky. Reported the toilet issue on our first day of our 3 night stay and it wasn’t addressed or really acknowledged in any way. Breakfast was an array of highly processed foods, really sub standard and in a windowless room in the basement.

The location was superb and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Also, the complementary breakfast was well suited to our needs.

Walls were very thin and could easily hear neighbors and those that were outside socializing at night.

From the welcome to interaction of the staff with willingness to help when requested. It is accessible to many local attractions. The breakfast is good for short stays but can be better if you are staying for a long time.
