We were on the first floor as requested. It was noisy from the upstairs rooms. Heavy footsteps, shower noise and loud talking came thru the ceiling

Great waterfront location, close to interesting shops and restaurants

Enjoyable stay at the Waterfront Inn & Suites in Sidney, BC. This was the last night of my one-week poke around on Vancouver Island. It is located on the boardwalk in downtown Sidney, BC, a short distance from the BC Ferry terminal and the ferry to Tsawwassen, BC. I stayed in the newer annex, on the 2nd floor overlooking the harbour. Nearby shops are fun to explore. The Riva Restaurant is in the same complex. It was a great area to hang out on my last night before heading home to the Okanagan.

The room was beautiful as was the view from my room. Sidney is a cute town with lots of amenities.

It was pretty expensive. $400 is a lot to pay for 1 night stay.

Great getaway in Sidney By The Sea

Location, room and view were all fantastic. Breakfast included as well as free parking and wifi all made this a great stay for us in a lovely little town. We'll definitely come back. :)

Breakfast room is small with only two tables for the entire resort. However, it was fine for us to grab a coffee and light breakfast and take it back to our room.

The breakfast room had seating for 8 people, 2 tables of 4, we were traveling with 6 people and that meant we couldn’t sit together. The man at the reception in the morning was not very polite

Brilliant view, facilities good although fairly old, location within a stones throw of everything. Staff very friendly.

Breakfast very basic, Fridge in the room too small for us (freezer coudn't cope with our freezer bricks) when we were travelling with a large portable fridge/freezer and needed to refreeze some items.

Great value, even greter location

The location was fantastic, a stones throw away from 3 pubs and many restaurants.

We were up late at my sons wedding and the next morning the housekeeping staff were talking quite loudly at approximately 8:30 am and seeing as we had the room for another night we were going to sleep in a bit. Saying that we will definitely stay there again and pay the extra few bucks on a room with a view of the water, it was stunning.

Servers did an excellent job of "replenishing" coffee and food items. Cleanliness prevailed.

This Inn is right on the waterfront and close to everything. The room was pretty basic but comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The breakfast room was very small with only 2 tables, so many did not have a place to sit. There were a decent variety of foods offered but we had to take it to our room.

Fabulous outside but lacking on the Inn-side at the SWI

This place is in a beautiful and really convenient location with gorgeous surroundings. The accommodation sadly does not have an elevator, which can be a factor for some folks like me. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was lovely and spacious with lovely provisions. The staff were pleasant.

The breakfast setup is really much too small - it was very squashed for the number of people trying to eat their breakfast w just the basics for a simple continental breakfast. The quren bed had only 2 pillows. The coffee provisions in the suite were not up to par with most other hotels/inns/motels - many people today would like to have a cup of tea or two, however only coffee is provided and only white sugar. It's in the little cost cutting savings that reflect lack of hospitality, and this was disappointing given the price of these accommodations.

Good hotel if get a room at the front with ocean. Not so great facing the parking lot.

We stayed twice at the start and end point of our hiking trip. The first night we got a great room with ann ocean view and the front desk women was really friendly. Second night we faced the parking lot. The front desk staff was not too pleasant and the room was hot and noisy. On the second night they would not move us without a charge. We could have stayed for less at a hotel that had a shuttle to the airport. We regretted booking the second night.
