Stayed here for two nights to meet friends who stopped by Victoria on a cruise. This hotel is less than 10min away from Swartz Bay ferry terminal which is convenient. Room is clean, spacious, equipped with microwave and fridge. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We arrived quite late and the front door was locked after certain hour, the staff came out to open the door for us. Breakfast is included and it is mostly self-service. During our stay, we could order waffle from the staff to be made in the kitchen. Though the breakfast area is not large, the attended staff keeps it very clean. She is also very efficient so that tables could be turn around quickly. They have good selection of baked items, eggs, sausages, yogurt, etc. The area is generally quiet and seems to be safe. Parking is free and brightly lit. Overall this is a very enjoyable stay and we will definitely stay again.

The room was beyond reproach. The staff were friendly and engaged. The breakfast far exceeded expectations. We were so surprised, we had minimal expectations from a Best Western but this felt like a high end hotel. Cannot recommend highly enough. Expectations blown out of the water!

The Location is perfect so you can walk to lots of nice Restaurants. I like the Ladies shopping with all the Boutiques. Like the lobby of the Hotel where you can have free coffee, lattes, etc, cookies and juice etc. out all day. The breakfast was also very good. I especially liked the little Ukrainian gal who was looking after the breakfast area. She was so friendly. We have come once a year in August for 3 years now and there is nothing I don't like. Tks. One of the best stays we had!! Nikolay (hope I spelled it correctly 😊) helped us check in and check out. His professional and courteous behaviour made our stay experience even better. Highly recommended property if you are staying with family.

Nice and clean, friendly stuff. Espresso machine in the lobby is like an added bonus. The only thing negative about this hotel is the breakfast area is extremely small, 4 tables for 4 sits each. You can have your breakfast outside or in the lobby, but that's a walk with all your plates from one end of the building to another.
