Good hotel, but not up to usual standards.

Hotel is modern, clean, well located, parking is easy. I've stayed here before and had good experiences. This time was a bit different

Construction noise started at 7:30 AM and kept me awake. There was jackhammering vibrating loudly through the walls from 7:30-8:30 am. The bathroom had a lingering rank smell; drains may be clogged, otherwise very clean. Coffeemaker tank needed cleaning.

Parking, no Valet although it has two huge signs that say VALET! Had to park a ways and my son had to drop me off and go park as I have a walker. Also asked for a handicapped room as I need a shower bars and did not have any.

My wife and I would stay at one of the other casinos next time.

The room size (one king bed) was a little larger than most of the other casino rooms. It was clean and modern, had a coffee maker with good coffee but no tea and only powered creamer. It had convenient electrical outlets and USB ports on each side of the bed. Complimentary bottled water was included and the shower was nice with very hot water. Climate control was efficient and quiet.

The hotel staff was just so so, efficient but not particularly friendly or welcoming. You have to walk through the gaming area to get to the front desk. The gaming area smelled of of cigarette smoke and had a low end dated casino feel to it. The carpeting looked old and dirty.

Good value if the price is right.

My room was very comfortable. Both the coffee shop and steak house were good. I found J Resort short on staff. If the room rate is low, I would stay again.

Not enough staff. Everyone in the hotel, restaurants, and casino I dealt with was friendly and helpful, but here are not enough of them to make staying at the J Resort smooth. No food is available (even a bag of crackers) after 10 PM. The places to pick up a snack or guest shop close frequently for breaks (because they don't have enough staff).

The room was a very comfortable space. Clean, good lighting, comfortable space and nice mountain view. Very quiet and everything looked recently remodeled with high quality products. Hallways were well appointed and clean. Shower nice, bathroom very high end. Linens great quality. Convenient free on-site parking. Felt very secure.

There was no microwave in the room. There was a coffee maker but no way to have hot tea. The casino area was smoky but we only had to pass through there to get to the hotel reception area. Still didn't like the smell.

It was very expensive, shouldn't have had any issues

The staff was extremely nice! But the restaurant was horrible, i ordered egg over medium, bacon, and hash browns, what the brought out to my table was scrambled eggs (not cooked enough) sausage and potatoes. Hotel floor was nasty, there was a big spot on the floor the looked like blood, size of a dinner plate I asked for the hotel service to come by and look at it and possibly we would need to switch rooms or they could clean it up and we could just throw a towel over the wet spot but no one ever showed up!

The blood or whatever the huge spot on floor was! Also the food was a very long wait because they are understaffed. Photos will be added later.

A nicely renovated hotel and casino, good for a conference

The art is very nice and the whole place has an updated, nice appearance. The four conference rooms were nice and well kept. There are many restaurants in walking distance.

The airport shuttle was not available / functioning, requiring more taxi fees to / from the airport. The hot tub, in addition to the pool, is "seasonal" and not open in November.

we had to switch rooms due uncleanliness , hair in toilet , doors and locks are sticky, keys didn.t work. slot machine malfunctions. However the casino floor manager was very helpful in taking care of my problem. bed was uncomfortable mattress was real soft and probably needs to be replaced. The thanksgiving buffet was not like it was last year. The food was terrible. There are some issues with the property that management is working on. However the main asset to this place is the staff. they try to make things right. I would probably not stay again. but Id like to give feedback. Thank you

Haven’t been to the J resort since it was the run down Sands. They remodeled it very nicely, the bed was comfy and the location next to venue was perfect! The venue has coat check and no in and outs, in case you’re wondering.

The table limits have increased since the sands.
