9.0 / 10.0
Convenient location, very helpful staff at registration.
There was nothing I didn’t like.
8.0 / 10.0
Location, outdoor pool open, easy to move around the building, close to easy restaurants
The pull out sofa beds had terrible mattresses and the actual bed wasn’t overly comfortable. The brick glass in the hallways are hard to block out light for the person on the couch.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable, food was good.
The restaurant was only open for breakfast and dinner, there were no lunch options at the hotel.

Dirty small staff was impolite
2.0 / 10.0
Room was large and clean. Easy to load in and out and park.
Bed was hard without give, and cheap sheet option meant that the bottom sheet came loose the moment I got into bed, even though I tried to re-tuck it. Instead of a normal fitted sheet, their hotel is economizing by using a flat sheet that doesn't stay tucked in, and you constantly feel the hard scratchy mattress on your feet. When I got up in the morning, there was no shampoo or conditioner; instead, there was a cheap little micro shower cap. The water pressure was also low and the towels were scratchy and uncomfortable. The bottom line is that I'm not staying here again unless I have no other option, not up to the level of Holiday Inn or Best Western.

Location is great with coffee shops and restaurants within steps.
Bit outdated and could use some repair
5.0 / 10.0
Location worked well. The sound fom the road wasnt noticeable, likely due to good windows.
Couch bed was the worst experience I've had. Hard, springy, wires digging in your back. It was really bad. Even the main bed wasnt comfortable, really firm. But better than the pullout.
The wall between the hallway and living room is glass block walls and the amount of light that comes through you could read a book with.
The living room tv is tiny.
There is so much damage in the walls, some repairs are needed
The rooms are small, not really an issue, but you have to straddle the toliet to close the bathroom door.

Property was large and the building was nice
No cameras outside at all. Zero security. Our car got broken into and they had no cameras in the lot, despite charging $13 a night to park there. Staff was helpful but ultimately very disappointed resolution, $26 refund really doesn’t help with a smashed window.

My truck was broken into in the parking lot. Hotel security noticed at midnight and didn’t notify me. When I checked out the staff didn’t notify me either and let me check out and discover the damage on my own. When I went back in the desk attendant said “Oh I see, there is a note here from security”

I like that the double double room has 2 beds and a sofa bed. Plenty of room for 3 people.
There are bees or wasps in the hedge where the handicap parking is. The driver was very afraid when she was getting out of her truck.

We were looking for a nice place to stay on our first days in Vancouver. This place was an excellent choice since it is very near a train station, and very important for me, it is relatively near the Vancouver Trans Canada Trail (https://tctrail.ca). Every morning I went jogging there.
At the counter desk, Alex was very kind to give basic information for us to move around the city. It made our trip a lot easier and she also gave us ideas of places to visit.
There are supermarkets and a shopping mall within a walking distance.
The neighborhood is very nice and safe.
Our room was so nice and comfortable that we didn´t want to leave. We had a small living room, a faucet, a microwave oven, dishes and eating cutlery, a fridge and a coffeemaker. I loved to have the washroom out side the bedroom.
Other guests were as happy as we were. It was nice to chat with other visitors at the restaurant.
I certainly would come back to this place when I come back to Vancouver. I just loved the room.
The restaurant service was very slow, although the food was good.
The hotel´s gym is very small and basic.
5.0 / 10.0
Location convenient to Skytrain and shopping, restaurants.
No smart TVs; so no Netflix or any other streaming channel.
Poor electric setup caused the room to not have power in half of the space.

Location met my needs
Heating and cooling system was not functioning. My bedroom was freezing, while my friend was overheating on the sofabed. The fans were so loud I couldn't sleep. The kitchen amenities were minimal - 2 knives and 2 forks. I was there to undergo medical treatment and it was hard to rest and recuperate because it was so cold.

Typical business hotel. Clean, function, efficient.
OK as is

Great room and clean.
Was in room 410. Buzzing sound of the AC ( not the one in the room)
Restaurant food was not the greatest. Had a steak but was not worth the money. Cactus club across is a better option.
9.0 / 10.0
Liked the one bedroom suite, if you travel with kids. Definitely will save it for next time.
I would like a better coffee bar. Not the best coffee.

Decent location.
Do not book here. Read the reviews on here and on google and you’ll see a similar theme.
The pictures are misleading. It’s an old building and the rooms and halls show it. It smelt dingy and wasn’t as clean as I would expect.
The staff was absolutely awful. Each staff member I talked to gave me a different answer for a problem I was having with paying with a work credit card, and they denied what the last person said. They claimed to have worked and trained there for years but they did not know policies and denied my requests, they were not accommodating whatsoever. I had to demand that they cancel my room and refund for the rest of my stay and I booked somewhere else. Do not book here.

This accomodation suited us well and enabled our stay in Vancouver to be most memorable.

We've stayed here many times. The rooms are clean and well stocked for two. The bed is comfortable. We enjoy having a couch, microwave, refrigerator, and dishes so we can eat in our room when we wish. The restaurant is good with a nice Happy Hour. The location is convenient for us and close to a light rail station, restaurants, and a grocery store with a Starbucks.
We had a room with a jacuzzi for the first time. We did not like having to do a high-step to get into or out of the shower. We're seniors. Younger folks may find it no problem.

The building was a little outdated.

We were hosting a conference there and the support staff for the conference were excellent. The room I stayed in was just a very average hotel room. It does have a good location though.

They had a pool and hot tub. It was very close to a few malls. Our room had a jacuzzi tub.
The AC was on constantly with no setting to turn it off. But it is warm outside so at least our room was always cold.
6.0 / 10.0
The room was non smoking room but it smelled like it had been smoked in. Only one elevator worked.
7.0 / 10.0
The location is good and property is decent. It has pool and hot tub for winding down at the end of day. It also has a restaurant and although I have not used it, that may be useful for someone who wants that convenience.
The carpet was dated and furniture looked old. Overall it did not had any wow factor.
