First off, this hotel has zero amenities available to guests. Zero.
The hotel has shaved off the gym, and pool sections to be sold to guests who may or may not be hotel guests.
That would be fine if the room was a value, but sadly, it's not when compared to nearby hotels.
During my visit, the ice machine was also out of service, so I had to hunt down another machine two floors above.
My room floor was covered in long black hairs, which collected disgustingly on my socks. The sheets to my bed came off revealing a bed pad covered in long black hair. My god.
My bathroom shower had an almost clogged drain, so by the end of my showers I was standing in a foot of water. The showerhead would only get half of the water it should have, as the tap leaks so profoundly. (See pictures.)
There was also, what I can only assume to be blood splattered on various areas of the wall? I have no idea why that wouldn't have been cleaned off.
The first day I arrived I was told there was breakfast served from 7-10. Upon asking the next day the desk pointed me down a hall, to a restaurant where I was given a menu. Asking at the restaurant, I was going to be charged for the breakfast, surprisingly. I turned down the meal, and was pointed to the exit. The exit was onto a golf course, with no entry to the hotel. So I spent my morning hungry, and walking around the entire hotel building. What a great start to a day, lol.
The parking for the hotel is shared with the spa you don't get access to, so you are lucky to get a spot in front of the hotel. You will almost certainly have to park in the reserve lot across the street.
All in all, a very odd experience. You would get better value at any other area hotel, and your room might be cleaner.
Front desk staff was lovely, and if I complained about any of these issues they might have been able to solve them. I just didn't want to spend my limited time in Ottawa complaining about hotel issues.

Make sure you read other reviews and know what to expect from the heating/cooling system. It is erratic and noisy and with user non-friendly thermostat.
