The room was large and the motel was a close walk to a large supermarket and several restaurants. It is a budget motel.
This was the only motel over a 3 week period where they had trouble taking payment. The lady who checked us in was not unfriendly but she kept re-iterating that as the booking was only for my son and I we couldn’t invite others back to our room. Rules were quite draconian and posted everywhere. I think they must have had issues with guest historically and were then distrustful of everyone else.
