Bed was comfortable, fairly clean, fridge in room was nice. Fine for a one night stay.

Very dated & a bit run down. Pricey for what is offered, though not many options in the area.

No cleanliness, extremely small rooms, no breakfast even after I paid for it, no iron, weird noises from the bathroom pipes. Filthy blankets, pillows sheets, fresh towels kept on the toilet. Stayed for five days not a single day the cleaning was done even after requesting

Friendly staff who were helpful. Quickly addressed an issue we had. So nice to have daily housekeeping and fresh towels without having to ask for it. The continental breakfast was more than adequate. There was never an issue with taking the food back to the room to enjoy as the area to eat was a little small. We found the location was good. Bus stops close by. Easy to get bus to Sky Train then to go anywhere we wanted.

The room sloped towards the window and so did the bed which was a bit uncomfortable.

The mattress was really comfortable and bathroom was very clean. I also liked that they offered a continential breakfast. That really helped me to start my day in an efficient way, which was nice as I had to be at a course early each morning.

The pillows were old and the ones on the bed were all broken down and lumpy. So we had to use the spare pillows, which were obviously newer and in better shape. Although, on the old pillows the pillow cases did not look clean, so we had to switch them with the other older pillows. Other than that the room was fine.

I like the location of the Inn and the price

That my room did not have a bathtub.. I never want that room again... I like to relax when I'm traveling and part of that is a relaxing bath.

Motels are not as common as they used to be and especially around Vancouver. The Happy Inn was very well maintained, everything was clean and cared for. The beds were comfortable. It was a convenient location for us and in a lovely neighbourhood with a wonderful park (behind it). The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was enough to get you started in the morning. i was surprised it had only a 6.8 review as the price and the care they have given to the place deserves more. It was great for our stay.

Good parking. Convenient motel.

Bed bugs. It started out fine, reasonably clean, inexpensive, didn't smell too bad. But in the morning both my wife and I had a few bites from bed bugs.

I liked the room, ability to see what's going on in the neighborhood, the staff, the sauna, cleanliness, and people I met.

When I drove up it looked run down. There was no elevator. The area is sketchy.

The staff was friendly, and we appreciated the staff let us stay in a bigger room due to our big luggage plus no elevator.

1. Unsafe area for car owners. We rent our car and parked at their place, and the windshield was scratched during the night. Anyone could walk in the parking area for sure. 2. Terrible bed! When I sat down, the mattress became nice V shape, so if you have back problem, this bed will give you more back pain the next day. 3. Housekeeping Big Mistake Episode 1! We stayed at ground floor. When we came back our room in the evening, we noticed our curtain and window were completely opened. That means anyone walked by could see clearly our personal belongings inside. Our closet was opened too. No privacy at all! 4. Housekeeping Big mistake Episode 2! Check out time was 11am, but housekeeping knocked at our door and asked us if we are leaving or staying. They should have checked the information instead of disturbing us. It was not our check out time yet, but we felt we were being pushed to get out. So rude. The whole experience was not good at all. We won’t stay there again and was our big mistake for sure.

Regardless of reviews, we have stayed twice for a week at a time and each time our room was clean, and well maintained with staff doing their due diligence to keep on top of everything. The beds were comfy and the location is convienent.

Rooms are a bit small, but that really has more to do with the fact that there were 4 of us.
