A cleverly arranged little apartment. Ideal for exploring Winchester on foot.

Easy walking distance from the centre of Winchester, which is a lovely and very interesting place. Winchester Cathedral is fascinating, and information easy to find on the cathedral website. It was quite easy to find good food.

It was silly of me - I only found the brochure revealing the WiFi code on the day I left. It was tricky to find a parking space... same at my home, so I'm used to that. I think the lovely Georgian windows would benefit from cafe curtains, it feels a bit exposed if you have the lights on, with the pavement being just outside.

A lovely stay and will come back again

This is my third stay here, and the apartment is just as clean, tidy, and cozy as always. Even the smallest kitchen utensils are neatly arranged. The neighborhood feels very safe and is in an upscale area. It only takes about five minutes to walk downhill to the High Street. The host’s room is in the main house right next door, which makes me feel very safe. Since I am sensitive to the cold, Emma prepared an extra blanket for me, which I really appreciated. Both Emma and Bev are very efficient and responsive, even replying to messages late at night. Bev is also incredibly helpful and always takes good care of my parcels that are delivered to her main house.

In summer, the sun rises quite early, so it would be even better if the bedroom had blackout curtains. I have missed their Lavazza coffee for a long time. This time, I didn’t see it, as it has been replaced with another brand.

Really clean, thoughtfully kitted out. Quiet, comfortable, great wifi & a very enjoyable stay.

It’s not a big thing, just something to be aware of. If you don’t have a car, it’s a decent hill to walk up from the Winchester shopping / tourist precinct. Took me 13 minutes.

Heard shouting from owners property next door. There is an ajoining door in the kitchen to the next door property which is locked but allows the transfer of noise. Door needs blocking up.

We were impressed with the apartment. We spent 5 nights here and we were very comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare and cook a meal. There is a washing machine/drier. The hosts have been very thoughtful in the set up of the apartment. The location is good. We were within walking distance to the train station, High St and various attractions in Winchester. I would recommend this property to anyone.

very good location for everything historic

The location is in within a short walking distance to the high street with all the historic locations to visit. It is also very close to eateries and bars and shops of all kind. The return walk is up hill and the pavements are not really wide enough for wheel chairs unless oncoming walkers stop or walk in road.

sometimes you cannot park immediately outside the location, but up the road a little and again the pavement is very narrow if using wheelchairs or pushchairs, however is passable again by walking in the street.

The apartment is in a great location and with everything we needed plus a bit more.

Great location. Short (but steep) walk in to city centre. Surprisingly well equipped kitchen and although the apartment was quite compact there was everything we could need for a long weekend. The bed was comfy, the wifi was good and there was a lot fitted into a small space without it looking cramped.

Nothing really. The en suite was very compact but very clean and had everything we needed. I think if there had been four of us it might have been a bit of a problem but it was fine for the two of us.

It was a perfect place to stay to visit a child studying in Winchester.

The property was lovely and everything was very comfortable. We especially appreciated the fact that there was room to unpack and hang up clothes, and that the kitchen was well equipped. I would stay there again.
