Very well placed, everything you could need for a short stay

Central heating didn’t work, a separate electrical radiator had been provided, but no explanation given. Glad it wasn’t too chilly, although the single bedroom was cold. Didn’t affect hot water as separate tank. Think the single mattress could do with a topper on it.

Perfect location but needs some attention.

Excellent location. Parked with ease. Lovely and quiet in evenings. Equipped with everything needed for a little break. Great information booklet.

Property needs some tlc, with damp on small bedroom wall right next to the bed and wall paper coming off in various places. Mould in bathroom again with peeling wallpaper. Cleaning wasn’t good at all, there were half eaten sweets in draws, food spillage stains on the lounge floor, wrappers and crumbs under seats, stained seats and the kitchen cupboards were quite dirty inside and out. Some crockery was chipped. There is nothing to put your drinks on in lounge, could do with little coffee table/side table. Beds are quite uncomfortable. Heating did not work, came on gradually but clicked off soon after, the apartment was very cold. Owner did come straight away but no sooner had it turned on did it click off again!

Sisters' catch up.

Perfect size for three sisters (65 - 61) and location from A30 and station. Easy walk into the centre past lots of lovely houses. Kitchen adequately equipped and great to find a teapot as well as a cafetiere. The pint of milk was welcome. Comfortable beds and pleasant view out of the back of the flat from the sitting room.

No proper plug in the bathroom basin, it just reduces draining rate. A note, not criticism, for future guests - the road is narrow and it's street parking on a hill!

Magic!

We made our own breakfast, as it is self-catering. It was perfect. We sat on the balcony and ate with a view. From the front door, it was all on one level, no stairs to contend with

Operating instructions for the washing machine and dishwasher would have been helpful. Guessing is not our strong suit, but we worked it out in the end.

Easy to find, clean, comfy and well appointed, with a friendly, easy-to-contact and helpful host.

The lockbox worked a treat and even when I couldn't get the key to work, the host was easy to contact and very quick to help.

The fact that the parking was on a very steep hill would've been worth mentioning. I was with an elderly relative who struggled getting in and out of the car and anyone else with mobility issues might also struggle.

Good fridge and kitchen. Bathroom clean and general flat clean.

Some furnishings seemed a little cheap or worn, like the curtains and bed linen. No frills place. Balcony was nice but needed a good clean and sweep.

City Centre Apartment

Lovely apartment in a very central location to Winchester, nice view from the balcony. Very comfortable furnishings and beds. Our host was very welcoming and helpful.

Lovely place to stay in Winchester for a short overnight/weekend trip.

- Lovely property centrally located on a quiet street. - Easy parking available near or outside property. - Nice balcony with plenty of afternoon light. - All facilities listed were available and information provided in folder was very useful. - Host was very responsive to emails.

Very little, although three key areas: -Water pressure in the shower was low and flushing the lavatory or using the sink at night causes a loud electrical noise in the cupboard of the main bedroom waking up occupants. - Bed was very soft and squishy. - Lounge/Kitchen needed a good clean as there were dried drip marks down the kitchen cabinet and fluff under the sofa.

Had a great stay in the property.

Very convenient for walking into Winchester. Beautiful views from the lounge and balcony. Fiona was very helpful.

Parking is very tight on the narrow road, however Fiona very kindly moved her car so we could get parked and unload. We thought a few hooks in the bathroom would be useful and a mirror in the smaller bedroom. The bed in the smaller room needs to be longer if an adult is using it.

A great place to stay for a city break

Hosts were very responsive when we had a problem and came round to fix it straight away

Parking was on the street and we were unable to find a space near the property. Inside the property there was very little lighting and some of the wall lights were not working. The kitchen was also very poorly lit

Excellent location, so close to the Xmas Market. Lovely apartment- perfect for what we needed for the weekend. Also having the milk/coffee/tea bags was a nice touch.

A quiet oasis in the middle of the city with free parking. Easy location for Winchester whether walking or driving. Beau

It’s a beautiful setting, light and airy and quiet considering you’re in a city. The apartment was spacious and well set out. It really enhanced our break.

I did hang something over the blue light in the main bedroom as it was keeping me awake and the noise of the fan when someone uses the toilet is surprisingly loud but we slept well in spite of it. It’s a great property. We loved our visit there and wished we could have stayed longer.

Hidden gem in Winchester

What a beautiful place, loved the furnishings, the rooms had a nice feel to them. There was a dishwasher & washer/dryer & a large fridge and the rooms were spacious. We had Netflix and a comfy large sofa. It felt like home from home, me & my 16 year old daughter really enjoyed our stay. We woke up to birds chirping as it's situated in a quiet part of Winchester. We had our own balcony and the rooms were very bright, would highly recommend.

Honestly, there was nothing either of us didn't like. A real hidden gem in Winchester.

Tolle Ferienwohnung, super Lage (Bahnhof und Innenstadt fußläufig), ruhig, unkompliziert

Sehr schöne, ruhige Ferienwohnung in der Nähe des Bahnhofs und zu Fuß auch schnell zur Innenstadt, Fußgängerzone. Die Ferienwohnung hat einen hübschen Balkon mit schönem Blick, eine prima Küche. Geschätzt haben wir den bereitliegenden Föhn (wir hatten keinen englischen Adapter dabei). Gerne jederzeit wieder !
